Are any updates being done on this plugin? We still have no way to make this work on a 3rd party websocket provider (which means most people can’t even use the plugin since many webhosting companies don’t allow websockets natively).

Will there be a way to create buttons to start a live chat with a user directly, similar to the Private Messaging add on? Also, will there be a way to start a live chat with a user via a button on their profile? We don’t want users to be forced to manually search for a user in the list, it would be much easier if they can directly message them like they currently can with the Private Message add on, except this would be live.
Also, most hosting providers don’t support WebSocket, I haven’t been able to find one which does. Any ideas?

Looking into this further, you should have documentation on how to use a 3rd party WebSocket provider like Firebase.com or Pusher.com (since most hosting providers don’t allow websockets to run naively, so I have to try and figure out how to get this working myself, even WP Engine doesn’t). I’m sure I’m not the only one. I’ve seen other chat apps on here that are already setup to work with Firebase.com, you just need to setup a free account to get it working.

Okay , here is the other alternative to validate your license given below. You have to write given below line of code with your purchase code in themes functions.php , then refresh the page from the frontend of your website and remove the added code. here’s the code -
global $userpro;
$userpro->validate_license(‘xxx’);
Please add this in theme functions.php file in place of XXX – please enter the UserPro purchase code
