ModuloBox is a lightbox plugin and not a gallery plugin. So, there isn’t any filtering system. You should take a look at a gallery/grid plugin for that purpose like The Grid plugin.

It’s possible to open ModuloBox from any kind of markup by using a custom selector.And you can also manually create a markup for ModuloBox: https://theme-one.com/modulobox/javascript-api/#setup. So it should cover any case.

With a “Basic” navigation type, thumbnails will not “move” when navigating in the lightbox. But you can still drag them because it’s a toouch lightbox.

I bought now your plugin and testing it and have to ask you 3 question. 1.Where I can change in the lightbox the color of the thumbnail background and the letters on the up left. I want an all white lightbox with exception of the black arrows close and letters on the up left side.
2. How can I make an masonry gallery as in your first example on the website. I tried it with the wordpress gallery but the outcome is nothing like that.
3. Where can I change how many images are next to each other in the gallery. I read the documantarty but couldnt figure it out.

Mixed content can be normal when using an iframe which do not use HTTPS protocol on a secure website. There is nothing wrong with this kind of mixed content. And it will only depend of the links used in iframe and your website. It does not have any relation with ModuloBox.
ModuloBox does not handle .pdf file directly. In fact, it’s a 3rd party service like GoogleDoc (or any other service which works in iframe) that reads .pdf file. And because ModuloBox works with iframe it’s possible to open .pdf file thank to GoogleDoc. It will work with any valid url (.pdf) which allows cross origin.

The usuability will only depend of the pdf reader your are using. ModuloBox only open an iframe from a link. So, the behaviour of the content inside an iframe only depends of original website and not ModuloBox. GoogleDoc is a good .pdf viewer.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend another kind of pdf reader. You should make a research on Google. Generally embed iframes do not enable touch gestures (or with special implentation like Google Map) because it can create conflict with the website which embed the iframe (especially to scroll content of the website)...

Yes, it’s possible. You can change all colors of ModuloBox (thumbnail border color included). And you can also set an opacity, so you will be able to set a transparent color for the thumbnail border for example.

I do not see any lightbox on your website example. ModuloBox is a lightbox plugin and not a gallery plugin. It allows to open media (like image/video) in a fully responsive popup.

I prefer a prompt change without slow acceleration at the beginning and slow deceleration at the end of each transition. Is it possible to switch this off? ModuloBox have settings to control the slider transition. Animations in ModuloBox use physic principles and are JavaScript based. It means that to set the animation transition and physic, you need to set a coefficient of Attraction and Friction of the slider. Higher Attraction value makes the slider move faster. Unfortunately, this is not possible to control animation with CSS.

Hi there. First of all, awesome plugin!!! I got it all set up, but I need some support here: I want to open an Envira Gallery that isn’t embed in my page with ModuloBox clicking in a simple link or button. How can I achieve that?
If I sounded too confusing, I’ll try to explain in another way: I created an Envira Gallery with a standalone url. I don’t want to embed that gallery in my page as a lightbox (not opening the actual gallery link), but instead I want it to ModuloBox to open it from a generic link or button.

To open media from a compatible gallery plugin with ModuloBox, you must have a gallery in your page. ModuloBox only opens content available in a page and generated by a gallery plugin. If the content is not available, then ModuloBox can’t open it. ModuloBox does not generate content, it just opens it.

You can close the lightbox by clicking outside the image, by dragging up/down the image or by scrolling. Closing by clicking on the image will prevent ot navigate on the gallery if you have several images opened. However, with a simple JavaScript code (that I can provide), it’s possible to close the lightbox when clicking on an image. It’s not possible in this case to navigate through a gallery because it will be closed on click.

The thumbnail sizes will be the one used in your WordPress gallery shortcode. So, you can control it, as usual, thanks to the WordPress gallery shortcode parameters. And if you are using ModuloBox gallery, you can control the thumbnail size in ModuloBox settings panel under gallery tab.
Thumbnails, like images in the lightbox, are loaded on the fly and will not impact the loading time of your website. In fact, that’s the main aim of a lightbox.
