thanks for quick reply… one more little question…
if you see the davinsays options framework.. there’s a few limitation html tags in “textarea”. SO, in the other words, you can’t submit a few html tags such as etc…
is this script have a better solution for me?
Hey there,
Can you please let us know which HTML tags have trouble in the optionsframework and we can test it out for you?
Thanks so much
Cheers
because it’s look very similiar to me…
and if not… is possible for you to change the “textarea” into TinyMCE editor
Hi There,
Yes some of the ProPanel core functionality is based from an early release of options framework. We’ve made significant customizations including many performance enhancements and new features.
There is unfortunately not currently a TinyMCE option type.
Please feel free to give us a shout if you have any further questions.

“How can I add a separate sidebar Menu rather than have it under Appearance?”
Could this also be done in the functions.php file instead of editing the core file?
Hey There,
This function cannot be called within functions.php – it needs to be called within the admin-interface.php file.
I hope this helps.

Question regarding the license.
A Regular License would allow me to use this in a single theme that I’m developing regardless of it being a free theme, correct? And a Developers License would allow me to use it in multiple themes?
Thanks
Hi There,
Thanks so much for your interest in ProPanel.
The Regular License is valid for use of the ProPanel within a single project. It does not allow you to distribute the code in any way, even if you are including it in a theme that will be free of charge.
The Extended License is also valid for use of the ProPanel within a single project. This License however allows you to include the code in a Wordpress theme that will be distributed. (This includes free themes and also themes sold for a profit).
Please note that the Extended License is only valid for a single project, so if down the road you decide to use the code within additional Wordpress Themes, it will require the purchase of an Extended License for each additional project.
Please feel free to give us a shout if you have any further questions.
Thanks so much my friend
Cheers
Hello again. Not sure if you missed my question that I posted above or if you are unable to answer… Please let me know anyhow. Again the question is: How can I add a separate sidebar Menu rather than have it under Appearance?
Hey There,
Very sorry for the delay. We seem to have overlooked your question.
I’ve just passed this request over to our development team and I will get back to you ASAP with more details.
Cheers my friend
Hey There,
Thanks so much for your patience.
To give the ProPanel it’s own Menu button rather than having it appear under “Appearance” simply do the following:
- Open up the following file: /Wordpress Files/admin/admin-interface.php
- Scroll to line 21 in the code
- Change “add_theme_page” to “add_menu_page”
- That’s it. Save and rejoice
I hope this is helpful for you

Thanks for quick reply.
In near future would you have the option to export/import?
Your most welcome my friend
It’s possible that we will add an import/export feature. This depends on the popularity of this product. If users continue to purchase this product we will indeed add an import/export feature.
Is this plugin ready for WP 3 .3?
Is there a way to export all options and then restore them on another installation?
Hey There,
Yes the ProPanel is fully WP3 .3 compatible. Please note however that it is not a “Plugin” per say, and is designed to be hard-coded into your Wordpress Theme.
As per exporting all options, this functionality is not currently built into the code set.
I hope this information helps you.
Cheers my friend
This looks great am actually using another code canyon script that has similar functionality but this looks a lot better aesthetically, the other is buggy and appears to be no longer supported.
Quick question before I jump in and purchase, am trying to figure out how to add a certain feature within my current theme and wondering if you think this could be customized to add it or would you possibly think of it for future update
1) a feature that enables the end user to dynamically add/delete multiple fields
2) have an export/import feature for all your settings
Also does the save button save all the tab data or just the tab you are modifying – plus similar question about the reset button.
Hope that makes sense
Cheers
Jay
Hey Jay,
Thanks a lot for your interest in ProPanel.
As per your questions, both features are unfortauntely not currently built into this code set. If the ProPanel continues to grow in popularity we may indeed include those feature in a future update.
As per saving the Options, hitting the “Save Button” saves all of the options at once. The same is true for the “Reset Button” – it resets all of the options at once.
I hope this information is helpful for you. Please feel free to give us a shout with any further questions.

Hi, just got this. Question: How can I add a separate sidebar Menu rather than have it under Appearance?
Newbie question… Is in documentation described how to print output options settings in theme?
Hey There,
Not a newbie question
Yes instructions for outputting the values in the theme are included in the documentation.
Also these training videos outline step by step how to use within your theme: http://vimeopro.com/truethemes/codecanyon-propanel
ProPanel is super easy to use and integrate.
Cheers my friend
Is it a fork from WooFramework?
Hey There,
Yes the original codes are based on the WooFramework.
I hope this helps. Please feel free to give us a shout with any further questions.

Hello, Puchasing an extended license will grant the right to use the panel in premium themes?
Hi There,
Yes that’s correct. Extended License grants the right to use within a premium theme.
Please feel free to give us a shout with any further questions.

Thanks so much for the kind words my friend! We’re glad you like the item!

Just wanted to let you know that this is a killer idea, and saves me a ton of time! Just got a copy and will be buying extended copy very shortly ! Just want to test it out first, great work!
Thanks so much my friend! We’re so glad you’re finding it useful!
Best of luck on your project!
Cheers
Using it and loving it! Feels like I am cheating, because this is too easy!! What used to take few hours I implemented in only 45 minutes … and it looks better!
Thanks again
Awesome mate! Making people’s lives easier is what we’re all about. Keep on rockin’ brother!
Cheers
Thanks, I just thought it included set options. That makes more sense.
When you say all does this include Karma? Cause I see some similarities in the options.
Hey There,
Yes the ProPanel allows you to create a custom options panel that will be added to the default wordpress dashboard. You can add an unlimited amount of options and pages to the propanel and can then retrieve those values within your wordpress theme.
I hope this clears things up. Please feel free to give us a shout if you need any further clarification.
Cheers my friend
Just bought
Regards Dave
Hey Dave,
We’ve re-uploaded the video and it seems to be working nicely now. Please give it another go and let us know how you make out.
If you still need to source video just shoot us your email address and we’ll gladly send over.
Thanks so much
Cheers
gets cut of short but I get the idea, thanks
Regards Dave
No problem mate, if I buy it can you send me the video in question
Regards Dave
Yup sure thing my friend. We can send the video directly
Can you have it as its own menu item in the left sidebar?
Also instead of vertical page tabs, can you do horizantal tabs across the top?
Hey There,
Thanks so much for your interest in ProPanel.
Both customizations can indeed be done but are not built into the code set by default. The horizontal tabs will require HTML /CSS customizations and the separate menu item button will require a minor PHP /Wordpress coding adjustment.
I hope this information is helpful for you. Please don’t hesitate to give us a shout if you have any further questions.
Cheers my friend
Still would like to have the option of vertical or horizontal tabs.
Hey There,
Please check out this tutorial for giving the ProPanel it’s own admin button: http://codecanyon.net/item/propanel-wordpress-theme-options-panel/faq/866565
As per horizontal buttons, this is not built in, however you can certainly make the CSS adjustments to fit your custom needs.
I hope this is helpful for you.
Cheers my friend
Might want to fix the 4th video, its not loading
Cool script Regards Dave
Hi Dave,
Thanks so much for the heads up. We’ve just contacted vimeo to see what’s causing the issue. Should be back up very soon.
