I’m having trouble with the order of my Attributes / Variations.

When I enter the Attributes the order I wish for them to display, they show up OPPOSITE order. To fool it I enter my attributes in reverse order that seems to work fine.

How can I move the order of the previous Attributes / Variations to show up in the correct order I wish for them to display?

For examples look at:

http://dev.maudlinproducts.com/shim-products/slotted-shim-kits/302-304-slotted-stainless-steel-shim-kits/

Open the accordion for “B 3×3 Kit The order is opposite of what I would like. (for both A kit and B kit)

But if you look at the C 4×4 Kit it shows the correct order because I entered the Attributes in opposite order.

How can I custom order the Attributes/Variables?

I see the “General” Default variations table ordering and Default variations table ordering direction.

But changing this information does not seem to have an effect on the ordering.

How can this be done?

Hello Maudlinproducts,

A way that surely works is to edit the products and double click the move handler of the variation, the burger icon on the right of each variation and setting the number of order. Just set one and then try reordering them. This should give order numbers to each variation.

Best regards, Spyros

I need to change the variations table labels from cm to mm on the LxWxH dimensions. Where do I change this? Can I add an option for inches on certain products? Thanks

Hello MarketingLeap,

I believe this is a Woocommerce question. Have you looked at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=products ?

Best regards,
Spyros

Sorry Spyros, it was very late & the brain wasn’t working properly. All sorted :-)

No problem MarketingLeap :)

hi there, i have just bought the variations table plugin. Questions: 1- is there anyway to show a dropdown menu for variations of a product. So that user can choose the variation and the price be updated accordingly. 2- Is there any way to change the font and color of the variation description in the table?

thanks Ali

Hello novotechsoftware,

I am sorry, the way you describe it this is not possible.
You can have multiple tables (products) in one page, but all variations will displayed on each table, not a drop down menu.

Best regards,
Spyros

OK. understood. Now, my problem is when user clicks on “Add to cart” link, it takes the user to the ‘cart’ page. I want the user to stay on this page and choose more products then decide when he wants to go to cart page. any solution?

Hello novotechsoftware,

Please disable redirect to car via the woocommerce settings :)

Spyros

Hello, dear friend! Can you tell me. Is it possible to do so? http://joxi.ru/DrlOw36I4L5QMA Print a table of variations on the catalog page

Hello Redjek,

Within the catalog view, no this is not possible. You can create a custom page and use the shortcode though.

Best regards,
Spyros

Hi! How to solve the problem: On the product page http://orehburg.ru/product/greckie-orexi-ochishhennye-1000/ in the table are not recalculated weight change quantity. It is also not displayed the weight of the variations and the summed weight of the goods on the shopping cart page.

Hello Father,

There is a point there, but someone could also say that you add eg. 5 products of 100gr each. If it was 5 products and the weight was 500gr then it may also confuse some customers.

Try adding the attribute as a term via the Products -> Attributes and set a slug like “my_product_weight”. Please let me know if this works.

Best regards,
Spyros

Granted, maybe it will make a mess.

I renamed a slug of “weight” to “wheight_of_product” and now in the cart attribute value is displayed normally. Thank you, Spyros.

Good luck.

I am glad this worked for you :)

Hi Spyros, about 6 months ago you replied to a previous question of mine that you planned on implementing a “super global” add-to-cart button (pg 25 of the comments). This super global would add all items checked off in all tables contained on the page to the cart, even with multiple tables on the same page. You mentioned it would be implemented in a future edition of the plugin. I just upgraded to the latest edition and this feature is still missing :(

Are you still planning on adding the super global add-to-cart button? This would great because one click would add-to-cart all products from all tables on the page (I have multiple tables on one page that is a wholesale order form). Thanks!

Hello bodynutrition,

I do plan to include it, but did not had the time till now. It is in the near future schedule. I am sorry for the delay.

Best regards,
Spyros

Table does not show, but no button at the end of the row. Only global button is visible, but does not do anything and changing the amount still gives a 0 on the button. I enabled showing the button.

Hello Teknology_NL,

Hi, is it possible to show a “Tax” column on the table, besides the “Total”?

Hello vika33,

I am sorry, this is not a feature of the plugin. You may achieve this via hook only. Do you have PHP knowledge?

Best regards,
Spyros

Hello luxoparts,

You can put multiple shortcodes, one after another, in one page, eg.

[vartable id=xx]

where xx is the id of the product. You can get the id of the product when hovering it on the wp-admin.

Best regards,
Spyros

Hello luxoparts,

Just add the text on each variation extra description box and set the description to be displayed via the plugin’s settings.

Best regards,
Spyros

Hello. How I can add 2 tables in the product?

Hello luxoparts,

What do you need the two tables to display? In general, you can add as many tables as you want with the shortcode.

Best regards,
Spyros

Is it possible to make it auto redirect to the checkout page when the user clicks on “Add selected to cart”?

Hello vika33,

No, it is an option at the Woocommerce settings.

You are welcome :)

Hello, I want to see if this plugin would work for me before purchasing. I want to show all the products that are in a particular category in the table view on a specific page. This way a user would see a table of the products in that category and can select the one that he wants. Is this possible? Thanks

Are those variable products or simple?
Maybe you need this plugin?

https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-products-list-pro/17893660

they are simple products. this looks more like what i am looking for. i am going to send you a question over there. thanks!

I am glad I could help excess28 :)

Hi

If i product is out of stock (0 in stock) i allowed backorders. So on the regular woocommerce variations it says “avaliable as backorder” but the plugin it says “In stock” and its possible to order. But i want it so be avaliable as backorder on the Table grid to. Is this a bug och is this not possible?

Hello sponsorhjalpen,

Backorder is supported. May I have a look at your setup? Can you please email to me temp wp-admin access and more details about the product via the contact form on the sidebar of my codecanyon profile?

Thank you in advance.

Hi, I have another question: your plugin works with YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode Premium and YITH Woocommerce Request A Quote Premium?

Hello elisastudioverde,

Thank you for asking.
It has not been tested and I am 99% sure it will not work, I am sorry.

Hi, I’m using the shortcode to display the variation table in the long description area below the product photo… I may be missing something obvious but how do I stop the standard Woocommerce variations showing in the normal position?

thanks Phil

Hello Phil,

Thank you for the purchase.
Can you please explain the problem in more detail or with an example and a link to it.

What part of the “standard Woocommerce variations” and what do you consider the “normal position”? :)

Best regards,
Spyros

Hi Spyros,

Thanks for your reply…

If I add the short code for the variations table to appear in the long description area that displays in the tab at the bottom of the product page, the variations table still displays in the normal position to the right of the photo. I can remove this by clicking ‘Disable variations table’, but then it is replaced with the standard version of the variations with a drop down menu.

I only want the variations to appear in the table in the description tab at the bottom of the page, I’d like to remove the variations that appear in the standard woo commerce drop down menu to the right of the photo.

thanks Phil

Thank Phil,

I now understand. :)

Please put this on the functions.php of your theme, before the closing ?> or at the end of the file if that does not exists:

add_action( 'plugins_loaded', 'i_want_to_remove_variations_dd' ); function i_want_to_remove_variations_dd() { remove_action( 'woocommerce_variable_add_to_cart', 'woocommerce_variable_add_to_cart', 30 ); }

and also ‘Disable variations table’

Best regards,
Spyros

Hi,

I’ve transfered the site to a new server and I now get this message. when your plugin is activated:

Can you help?

Thank you, Kassem

Hello Kassem,

This is a server issue. Can you please contact your web hosting provider?

Best regards,
Spyros

Will do thank you!

So is there no logic behind the sorting?

Is there a way to set the default of which variation the tables are sorted by?

We are importing products and the import in order but once the variation table is activated, it displays them out of order. So I’m not sure what it is sorting by. It would take too long for us to go in manually and rearrange them. Any suggestions? Thank you,

nitroweb nitroweb AUTHOR about 22 hours ago Flag Hello Banyan3,

Unfortunately there is no such option. One “dirty” solution would be to trigger a click on the column’s header you want to sort by, via jQuery. I once came across a plugin that was able to do it. I am searching for it the last 30 minutes, but no luck.

Best regards, Spyros

Hello Banyan3,

The plugin will try to find the way the variations are sorted on the backend. This (menu_order to be techy) is the logic.

Spyros

Hello! Error log in my site contains a lot of errors with example text: PHP Warning: json_encode() [function.json-encode]: Invalid UTF-8 sequence in argument in /home/kupirast/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woo-variations-table/woo-variations-table.php on line 738

My site – www.kupirastenie.ru

Hello Nitrat,

I added the code that should fix the issue. I will include it on the next version. Please let me know if you see further entries on the error_log.

Best regards,
Spyros

Thanks Spyros – as such there are no errors

Great to know Nitrat. Thank you for pointing this out.

Hi there, I just purchased this product.

I am using woo min max (https://woocommerce.com/products/minmax-quantities/).

The standard woo add to cart display sets the quantity (next to the add to cart button) to the minimum quantity, your plugin does not, it sets the qty to 1.

My site s in development, but I will need this to be fixed in the next few weeks.

Cheers

Hello digger149,

I am sorry, but I have not tested my plugin with this one. It is impossible to test and make it compatible with all the plugins out there. I already have a “Default Variation Quantity” for each variation though. Will it not do the job for you?

Best regards,
Spyros

It’s better, but still allows shoppers to go below the minimum on the product page. I can send you a copy of the plugin if you want.

Yes, please do, however I can not promise supporting it. Send me an email via the contact form on my profile here on codecanyon and I will reply.

Also, the sorting header option doesn’t seem to working

Hello Banyan3,

Thank you for asking.

About the SKU sorting; yes, please sort your variations by SKU on the backend :)

Can you please provide a link to the page with the “header option doesn’t seem to work” issue?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Spyros

Hello Banyan3,

Thank you for the rating :)
But let’s move on. Did you see my reply? Were you able to put the meta on the product so you can sort?

Best regards,
Spyros
