well, nothing is bullet-proof – if you customer is a PHP Nerd it would not help but if you have “normal user” than it will protect your code very well
A question: in my project there are many files to encode, there is a way to submit a source directory, or should I do a billion of copy&paste?

It’s not always true. If I want to protect my algorithms I have to hide everything, if I only encode the license file, anyone can open other files, how they work and replicate all of the software without a license. In addition, in some software (for example Magento or WordPress extension) would be simple to open the software files and remove the lines that include the encoded license file. In some cases it’s necessary to hide the whole project. Thanks anyway.

2) your doc talked about PHP variables, but your html-encoder.php is protected from updates. If I try to instantiate the vars before your include(), doesn’t work too…
