Hey guys! is it possible to display a tooltip right above an image or fixed to one of its corners? the idea would be to use it as an image title.
Also is it possible to add a light shadow under a tooltip?

Yes, you can use tooltip on images. If you would like to add some shadow, you’ll need to prepare some custom css code.

I would like to add your tooltips to a form that is created by another plugin and the form is inserted onto a page via a shortcode the form you can see is here www.insight-setup1.co.uk/submit-an-event/ and we would like to create tooltips over things like “Event Start Date/Time” I am not sure if your tooltips would appear on these words (other tooltip plugins don’t)
It’s hard to answer your question. The tooltips works with shortcodes as well. So if you’re able to use shortcodes for your texts, then they should works.
In your live example page. The “Support For Movies” doesn’t show any videos or movies, only text.

Is there any way for you to have the option of having the tool tip (such as movie) stay open even when the mouse is moved. Then require a click to close it?
It’s kind of a pain to have to make sure, that the mouse pointer stays exactly in one spot just to see a video (a support video for example).
Basically, it would be like what event click does, without having to click, except a click to close the video.
Yes, it’s possible. There is an option for that, please check the ‘Support For Click Event’ section on live preview page.

Yes, if you will define image map: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_map.asp and then set a tooltip for each area tag.

Hi, I just started using the plugin here (http://sparkkstudio.com/pure-skin-calendar/) on my backend I put the shortcode with the value event=’click’ on the first square, the rest with hover, the problem is that with hover I can click on the links on the visible square, but with the click option I can’t go to the link. This is very important because I will be using it on mobiles mainly and hover doesn’t work for it. Thank you very much!

So, I installed the tooltip Plug-in – and as far as the tooltip panel looks – everything is pretty selfeplaining… but I am using a shortcode from within the them (salient) which is f.e.: [icon color=”Accent-Color” size=”small” image=”fa-picture-o”] if I wrap this shortcode with the plug-in, the only thing that happens is the text (as in shortcode) itself that gets the tooltip – no icon there (see link) ... so how can I use the fontawsom with the tooltip then?! I am a bit lost here. please advise…

Yes, it’s possible to make a tooltip on any element on your page, so it will work also for your icons. If you’ll have any issues with set this up, just let me know.
does it work also work with Visual Composer without any issues? can I adress individual Hex Colors to the tooltip? TIA
Yes, it will work with Visual Composer. You can use text block component to insert tooltip. There are no color configurators included, so all color changes needs to be done via css.

just one more – I ve seen tooltip plug ins that are not accurate in position of the tooltip box… this is something that I need to work perfectly since I want to work specifically with icons (a phrase or word would not be too demanding) ... can you confirm that positioning (margins, etc..) work accurate?

I like it but why it makes tool-tipped words small in mobile devices? but it’s fine in PC browsers? They can’t be read!
They should be the same (are the same for me – tested on iPhone 5S). On which mobile device you see the smaller tooltips?

Hey guys, I know this isn’t a support section necessarily but I am in somewhat of a pickle.
I inherited a client site from another vendor. That vendor purchased this plugin and it has been working well on the site for quite some time. A recent update or something has caused some error code to slip onto some of the pages.
I have my own Envato account, and the License code for their purchase, but I cannot create an account to login into the support forum (it likely does not associate the purchase code with the user).

Hello, can I load post content automatically in the tooltip? For example, I want to have a front page that will load all the featured image of the last X posts, and on hover I’d like to load the post content corresponding to that image. Is it possible?

Hello, you can use shortcode in tooltip content, so you should be able to do that. But you’ll need to put shortcodes for each image manually, plugin won’t do that automatically.
