and no multilangual support as advertised?

Multibyte characters are supported, but you can use one language at the time.

2-) Which design pattern is the script based on?
3-) Which PHP framework is based the script on? It would be great if I could extend it with a framework like LARAVEL5?

1. It means that you can use have multiple languages, but only one active language at the time.
2. Not sure what you mean by that, are you referring to php, or something else.
3. No know framework is used, it’s pure php and oop, with touch of MVC

You can easily place ads on any page by inserting JavaScript code.
2) Whats the safe way of moving the whole installation from a subdirectory to the main directory ? My brother will be filling the website in a sub like www.website.com/directory and when its filled we will place it online in the main directory, is this possible without losing everything ?

Those are car brands, you can edit categories from admin panel.as for transfering site within the same domain, all you have to do is update .htaccess file as well as site directory field from admin configuration. Everything else will remain the same.

If you want to create a new fake user, you can do it. Login as that user and change default avatar, the same avatar will be used for testimonials page.
if clients share their testimonial, is it not me that will make it add to the testimonial on front page? I tried login as user but the issue is I can not login to current user to change the avater, and the one I create I can not find where to add it to appear to front page testimonial
If you login as user via front end go to settings dropdown menu, and from there you can update your profile as well as avatar. From the same menu you can submit review. You as a admin or site owner can’t change user avatar, you can update other information, but avatar is only available to logged in user.

Your database server is offline, it could be that your hosting company is doing something. Does it happen all the time?, or randomly?

offline methods are currenty not supported, but you can create a new page and provide all the ncessery info to your users. Once payment is received, just activate membership access for that user. I. Regards to adding new payment gateways, that will require some coding skills.

Password must contain at least one upper, one lower and one digit , if you want to modify password strength you can edit line 72 in lib/users.class.php

Sorry, about that, its just a language phrase error. You can change it your self from language manager.

Hi Gewa i baught CDP and i have a quetion about the styling. i want to change the main display. mainly i want to change the width and alignment so that i can include some coding on the side. all i see is styl references. all i want to know is where can i find these styles so that i can modify them to my will. i also want to know is what is the file name under master that compiles the home page. only want to apply the style changes to some segments and not the entire home page it self. o and i messed with your coding a little… have a look www.autotradeno1.co.za. Ok. You can find individual styles in theme/master/css/. If youw ant to make changes to home page only, look into /themes/master/index.tpl.php there are 5 different sections there and each section includes separate file.

How do you run the cron.php? What is the exact command to run?
and cron.php has a line ” require_once(“init.php”);” but there is no init.php file in that directory!
There is init.php inside CDP root directory. To run cron file use wGet option from your control panel.
Im not using cpanel. I’m asking for the command I should add to my crontab. I tried: curl -s -k http://IPAddress/cron/cron.php But it didnt work. please let me know
You need to use wGet otherwise it will not work.
I used wget as well. It doesn’t work! can you please take a look at your cron code? when you run wget it doesn’t actually do anything. and there are no errors either. But I do think there is an issue with the cron.php code. cron.php path is “cron/cron.php”, and it is referencing “init.php” but init.php is in the root folder! Please let me know how this works, I am stuck on it.
Sorry about that, you’re right. Here is the easy fix. Just replace init.php with ../init.php
I know this question was asked last year, but I have a client looking for this feature also. Have you investigated the possibility of a feed? If not, is there an export feature that could export the inventory in csv format?
The question I’m referring to here is about exporting to eBay Motors.
You can export vehicle database from phpmyadmin in generic csv format. I don’t know if that will work with eBay motors, but some tweaking might be required.
How does a dealer add vehicle listings from the admin account?
You can’t do it from admin panel, you will need to login via front end.

It could be that your htaccess file is not configured correctly. I would need to take a closer look in order to determine the problem. Could you email me from my profile,page with your ftp access and site URL?
i can’t give you access. What should be the configuration? I tried copying the root folder’s .htaccess file to the admin directory and it didnt work. could it be apache? whats the right way of configuring this?
