Hello!
I would like to ask you if the plugin can be used with visual composer for wordpress.
Thank you Best regrads Michalis Chomtas.
Hi Michalis,
Currently the plugin won’t work with visual composer. It is specifically built for cornerstone page builder.
I don’t see a reason to pay for a block-quote shortcut that’s already there anyway.
Hello,
This is not just a block quote. It is useful for the people who just want to showcase some testimonials on some pages not a complete dedicated testimonials page and adding testimonials etc. We are already working on an advanced version where there would be a post type and categories for testimonials.
The bottom of the images get cut of if there are more than 2 lines of text. Please help
Hi There,
Can you please share your website url so that we can check and see what’s the issue.
Regards
Hello, I get a fatal error when trying to add this plugin. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Fatal error: Class ‘X_Addons_Updates’ not found
Hello,
Can you please let me know what the version of your cornerstone ?
Hey @magnigenie. I’m very much in the market for something like this, but I echo @decastell’s query about it gathering its content from a custom post type. Is there any way (with a bit of shoehorning) that we could feed through a post (and ideally a “Quote” post) into your testimonial element? It’d obviously need to take the image from the featured image and the body copy (plus citation) from the main post text box… or, if the ideal “Quote” post method is an option, it’d take it from the quote field and citation field. There would be huge benefit, in my opinion, if the site owner (client) could simply write a post, select a category and have that quote appear in the designated locations. Taking it to the next level, a site owner would even be able to upgrade a (trusted) subscriber to a contributor, who would then be able to actually write a testimonial. the client could then simply select the appropriate category and bosh, it appears in the designated zones.
Hi,
I understand your query and we really think it would be a great addition. We are actually thinking to create an more advanced version of this plugin where there would be custom post type and categories for the testimonials and the admin can simply select a category and optionally select specific testimonials to display on any page. But we are in discussion that we should create it as another plugin or modify this plugin because some people don’t really want so much sophisticated testimonials rather they just want to display certain testimonials on some page. Where as there are people who want some more advanced version where they want to specify categories to testimonials, filter the testimonials have a frontend submission form for the testimonials.
How do I change the font? The default one doesn’t look right with my page design.
Just use the following custom css to change the font.
li.mg-testimonials-item p, .identity-container span {
font-family: fantasy;
}
Replace fantasy with your preferred font family.

Any chance that you might add a font-selection drop-down in the element builder interface? Or at least just set the plugin to inherit the default body font? It seems a bit odd to have a plugin that ignores all the design settings of the theme around it.
I understand your concerns. We would definitely check and release an update about it.
Does this gather testimonials from a custom post type?
No, It uses the page builder elements to display the testimonials.
So the individual testimonials must be entered through Cornerstone?
yes, they would be entered through the builder elements.
I purchased this plugin but it doesn’t work – What can I do to fix it? http://prntscr.com/a0fpwn
Seems like an weird problem. Can you let me know what’s your cornerstone version ?
Version 1.1.1 – I installed the plugin on 3 test sites and all 3 are showing the same thing
okay, that’s really weird. Can you share admin details for a site and we will check what’s the issue. You can mail us on support@magnigenie.com
