Hi there, is it possible to make this appear on a specific page rather than just the homepage?

via plugin options is not possible, only with source code modifications.

Hi,

I’m testing the plugin but when activated I got this error please see screenshot http://prntscr.com/bcuk5n also this plugin is compatible to multisite ?

Thank you

As you can see errors goes to plugin woocommerce-custom-fields. Yes, plugin compatible to multisite, if you enable maintenance all websites on multisite will be under maintenance mode.

I’m testing the plugin with Chrome DevTools but there is no warnings from the plug in. I wonder if I’m missing some setting? Wordpress is showing its browsehappy.com allers but no alert from “Warning Old Browser – Wordpress plugin”

Why you testing plugin with Chrome DevTools? Plugin detect original old browsers, you can choose browser version in plugin options.

When will you update IE and ME ms new browser?

What I mean is to add Edge on the list or the browser list.

Ok, we will add this browser in next update

Thanks. Ill wait for it.

I have CURL enabled and still don’t get to choose any browser version from the dropdown. – WP 4.3.1

Can you make sure if CURL functionality is enable on your server. Plugin can’t grab the data with browser versions. Try to disable your other plugins for test maybe some cause a damage.

Hi there,

I purchased this plugin and it’s not working. I have it installed on this site but in my tests I’m not seeing any message: www.ceoempowers.org

Thank you for your help. Raeanne

Try to choose latest browser version and check if message box will appear

Hi – I’m suing W3TC for caching and the message is showing up on all the website now.

Is there a way to turn the message off on all other browsers?

I meant to say all web browser versions, regardless of the settings. Please let me know. Thanks.

Plugin has dynamic elements on front end. It’s not working with cache plugins. Sorry

I have the same problem… I can’t select browser version… The select boxes are empties, and link fields are empties too.

What can I do? Thanks

Try to send request in our support with admin access to your website http://support.fruitfulcode.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Maybe you have a problems with redirects

I purchased and installed the Warning Old Browser plugin on WP 4.1 but i cant select browser versions. When i click on the selection box nothing happens. I even tried on a new fresh WP 4.1 installation

Do you perhaps have an ETA?

during 24-48 hours it’s depends on approval system.

Current plugin version is working correctly with WordPress 4.1 Can you make sure if CURL functionality is enable on your server. Plugin can’t grab the data with browser versions. Try to disable your other plugins for test maybe some cause a damage.

Hi, I have installed this plugin on my site however its is incompatible with W3 Cache and Super Cache since the page gets cached if first visit is old browser and then warning appears everywhere. Do you have a fix for this yet ?

Im using the w3 total cache (Downloads: 4,195,246) :-) Approximately when will the update be released ?

Hi waiting for your response about update release date :-) Thank you

Sorry, we don’t have release date at the moment. Plugin don’t working with cache modules since it’s dynamic web element.

Hi, can this be applied on just a specific page? My site is safe for IE6-7 but specific pages contains javascript that won’t work on IE8 below. Thanks

Hi I am seeing a similar issue to a comment from over a year ago with this plugin not working with a caching plugin. I’m using the other big one called WP Super Cache.

Have you been able to get the issue resolved?

If someone goes to the site and has an old browser it caches the error message and displays it to everyone after.

Supposedly there is a method of fixing it mentioned here: http://omninoggin.com/wordpress-posts/make-any-plugin-work-with-wp-super-cache/

but I’m unsure of how to implement this easily in your plugin.

Or possibly somehow defining a constant to DONOTCACHEPAGE or something like that.

vermillion11,

Our plugin is dynamic, we will check if possible make DONOTCACHEPAGE and will make improvement in next plugin version.

I actually fixed this issue. I just added this line: define(‘DONOTCACHEPAGE’,1); to line 25 of the wr_browser.php and it seems to have corrected the issue. Though I am testing to make sure that did not cause the entire site to now not be cached.
