Hi, is it possible to add widgets like woocommerce product tags or woo currency converter widget?
Hi there. Navi doesn’t have a widget location.
When i click the menu button nothing opens up? I have selected the Navi check box for the main menu it in Appearance -> Menus.
Hi. I’d have to see the site to comment. Send me your site address through the form on my profile and I’ll have a quick look.
Cheers.
Thanks, sent
I need to buy it, but need to: (1) change the currently effect to gravity animation. (2) change the currently background to wood background image. (3) make the menu appears, when the user click on laptop icon on page.
Hi there. Such customizations would take some doing, so you’d have to get a freelancer for such work.
Cheers.
Beautiful little plugin, very fluid and responsive. A couple of questions before I buy:
1. Can I change the opacity on the background lines to 0% so they’re essentially hidden?
2. Can I change the opacity on the background to 100%? It would be nice to just have the option of the navigation being isolated without being able to see content behind it.
Thanks, and keep up the lovely work.
Hi, glad you like it
1) Yes, you can change it to anything you want, from 0-100 2) Same here, you can change the opacity percentage to anything, from 0-100
Cheers.
Can’t say I’m happy with the result, once you use the menu with nav items longer than “The works” and other links in the example it breaks, the arrows overlap the text and it looks pretty shoddy. Was hoping to install without having to tweak the css so much. Please advise
Hi there. Nothing “breaks” if longer menu items are used; the text indeed overlaps the arrow but everything remains usable as it should. It is in fact a design choice. Not everyone may like it, it’s is a bit ‘artsy’ maybe
But that’s why the plugin is available for testing as well, so everyone can test how their menus would look.
If you want to increase distance of the arrow, then you can easily do this though:
@media screen and (min-width:400px) {
.navi-menu-wrapper { width:300px; }
.navi-by-bonfire .menu li span.navi-submenu-active {
-webkit-transform:translateX(-300px);
-moz-transform:translateX(-300px);
transform:translateX(-300px);
}
}
Just change the “300” values to 350 or 400 or whatever you need. Just note that the “min-width:400px” specifies that your changes show on resolutions 400px and up, so it still shows narrower so it wouldn’t run off the screen on phones.
Cheers.
Hi Bud,
Love this
Before I purchase (and I have played with the demo) I had a couple of questions please.
1) Can you tell me how and what code I need from your plugin so I can add it manually to my header.php file?. The reason I ask is that I have a set position in my header that this menu icon must appear at all times. I tried all the options and unfortunately depending on browser size the icon won’t stay fixed
2) I was also wondering whether this menu would be activated only in responsive mode?
Rich
Hi there.
1) The code is well marked as always. And you can use a custom element to activate the menu by adding a certain class to it (described in the included documentation). Beyond that, it’s stuff for a freelancer.
2) By default, it appears everywhere. But you can set at which resolution the menu will appear.
Cheers mate, i didn’t want to use the custom element as I would loose the effects you have on-click, what I wondered is whether I could take part of the code and add it to my header.php file. ??
Yup, like I said the code is well marked as always. But of course you’d have to know what you’re doing when you change the menu button’s location like that.
Cheers.
Ok thanks I will look through carefully, one final question, If I wanted to add additional text to the overlay manually where would I would that? Is that even possible?
In navi.php. Just look at the code markers for where the menu etc begins.
Hello, I have just installed and are setting it up using the custom activator. The problem I have is that when you click on the activator it opens nicely but I do not see the close button anymore. Can you help asap? Thanks in advance… apart from this it is a great plugin!
Hi there. If you’re using a custom element to activate the menu then you just have to give it greater z-index via css so it can actually appear above the menu. If it doesn’t already have one then give your element relative/absolute/fixed positioning depending on your needs and then also add something like “z-index:99999999999;” to it.
If you don’t have experience with all that, send me your site address via the form on my profile and I’ll have a look.
Cheers.
Yeah my menu is relatively positioned and applying a z-index hasn’t helped. It still appears behind the popup. Any other ideas?
z-index has to work. Mail me your site so I can have a look.
My site is behind a maintenance plugin at the moment so I can’t send you the URL… Let me keep playing. If all else fails then I will contact you. Can you email me your details blandydoes@gmail.com – I wont keep much of your time mate.
Just contact me through the form on my profile if you need to: http://themeforest.net/user/bonfirethemes
Cheers.
Okay I have this:
The #main-menu is position:absolute with a z-index of 99999999
I’ve applied z-index to all other div containers there and nothing brings it to the top…
What’s your email address?
I’m not going to post it publicly. Just contact me through the form on my profile, it’ll come to my email: http://themeforest.net/user/bonfirethemes
Hi!
How much for a menu like Adobe.com?
Hi there. I’m not available for custom work right now I’m afraid.
Cheers.
looks great ! Loving the minimal approach.
Cheers
i need to keep my streak of buying all your plug-ins alive! 2 quick questions on this one:
1. can the logo icon be centered like this site example: http://nutsandwoods.de
2. can the background image be set like on jumbo?
oh shoot, one more…can the menu icon itself be enlarged a bit…it’s kinda small
thanks sir!
Hey there, loyal customer
.navi-main-menu-button-wrapper { left:0; right:0; margin:0 auto;}
2. Glad you like the background image feature in Jumbo but that’s not included. Never say never but for now Navi has just the background lines.
3. It could, with scale. try something like this (this has the above alignment css included as well):
.navi-main-menu-button-wrapper {
left:0;
right:0;
margin:0 auto;
-webkit-transform:scale(1.38);
-moz-transform:scale(1.38);
-ms-transform:scale(1.38);
transform:scale(1.38);
}
You can play around with the “1.38” values until you reach your desired result.
Don’t forget to rate now, ya hear
Have a good one mate, cheers.
ahhh yes didn’t mean to write “logo”, meant “menu”
you the man and thank you for the answers! keeping the streak alive…purchasing now and will rate as always
Cheers
Can I create multiple different menus that can be opened from an element on the page, giving me different menu options for different pages?
Hi there.
You can use a custom activator, but Navi is a site-wide menu.
Cheers.
Very nice, BonfireThemes – keep up the great work!

so cool
Can it be right or left?
How may layers deep in terms of sub menus?
kudos for super cool UI | UX
Glad you like it.
It’s 2-level. Menu is left but menu button can be positioned. Check the item page for all suck details.
Cheers.
I’m just concerned about it conflicting with a logo placed in the same quadrant.
I hear you. The menu button position can be fine tuned by first placing it left or right of the screen, and then on top of that you can change the left/top/right distance as well to place it exactly as needed.
cool. This is on my buy list for today or tomorrow then.
I just love your code products.
So smart!!!
Cheers
Plugin looks great !
Any plans to extend it to more than 2 levels … or is it easy to customize to 3 levels etc
Glad you like it
No plans for 3 levels though as I really wanted to keep it simple (the arrow animation is key really, and once in the sub-menu you can’t animate the arrow in the same way as when you go from top-level to sub-level).
Navi is definitely not intended for sites with complex menu structures. Just a neat way to add some uniqueness to sites with straightforward structures.
Cheers.
Ok cool, no problems
many thanks for the quick reply … good luck
Sure thing.
Hi, I’m really interested in your plugin but I do not understand if I can create a full screen menu where on the left there is the main content and on the right the sub menu that shows up when the item in the main menu is hovered. Thanks! Stefano
Hi there. Sounds like you’re looking for something quite different. Navi is a simple menu that functions as can be seen on the demo site.
Cheers.
Cool Work Mate
