We are trying to use the same code for flow diagram where we need to show the process to go back to the top of the tree or just previous parent. So is there a way we can draw the line from bottom node to any parent and the lines be shown with arrow like —>-— instead of simple —-—- for direction. Could you please let us know if we can use any other plugin with your code or we would be happy to hire you for a few hours of work if possible Thanks in advance MB

I try out the demo, there is a problem with go to small screen. All notes are crossed by a single line, user is hard to know which is parent or child. Although, you have numbering to indicate, but it just a name. Any solution for this? Thanks

I notice in Wordpress version you have shown org chart – can I use non Wordpress to create an org chart?

I would need to be able to show name, picture, job title, email and a few other fields – is this possible?

Also, previous person asked if possible to have one item with two parents – for example, Bob reports to John and to Paula. Can this be done?

I used your code for very large tree(about 1500 elements) everything work fine.

But I want to print out the three. One problem is I can’t print all elements on the right that over browser view area.

Do you have any suggestion for how to print out all the three elements?

I want to disable responsive template I want added box stand side, does not automatically fall under.

3 Problems with BS 3.2

BS 3.2 – wont work. Its broken with BS 3.2 responsive CSS, So, if you’re using bootstrap 3.2 inside, this was not working

( listed a work around below)

Unstable Jquery 1.11.1 on nu – get – Its also not stable with with jQuery 1.11.1 – this was not working, user was complaining. This needs to be updated

Parent-Child tree Hover problem -Only top an bottom nodes are highlighted, the rest of the parent tree is not changed to purple or yellow, on hover with BS 3.2

If the main DOM, jquery $() is loaded in a different parent window like A SP nested views, then there is no easy way to connect to that in a child view. Can post some documentation on how to attach this as childview plugin in a different page, where the doc.Ready was already loaded

For the fix, at least one was – in the BS 3 fixed layout css only scenario I had to remove some CSS classes.

I wanted to point out that when the page re-sizes for responsive fluid some of the default BS 3 classes, like pull-right css class is in the container, had to be removed.

Part of the challenge was that JS was initializing and drawing the lines – which were being tinkered around by BS3.

Can you please test and post an update with Jquery 1.11.1 and BS 3.2.

Also, FYI – Jquery 2.0 does not work with IE 8 or below, which many people still use today. I found the user complaining, so I reverted back to 1.11.1

I am pleased with this plugin. However, it took me a long time to get it working with my MVC5 setup. This was in part because of some weird MVC5 settings in the _layout fie.

However, more irritatingly, it doesn’t work with the latest versions of JQuery. When using JQuery 2.1.1 an error is thrown “TypeError: $(...).live is not a function”. This error occurs because the “live” function has been deprecated. Any chance of an update?

Before I buy this…a couple questions.

1. Can I add pictures of faces to each box to create an org chart? In short, can I edit your HTML and include tags so that each box has a picture?

2. Can I use your HTML structure and embed it with my own PHP/MySQL data, or do I have to build it only using your demo?

Question: Can you have a child node that has two parents? So using your demo…

could 1.2.1 be connected to the parent of both 1.2 and 1.1?

This goes against the heirarchy that I believe this is intended for, but if possible that would be great.

Also, if interested in doing some customization for me I would be happy to hire you for a few hours of work if possible. I am under a bit of a time crunch however, so would need to be soon.
