Hello I installed from scratch the new version of the script, but the player does not work, I added new API key youtube but nothing appears no player
Hi,
Make sure you create a browser API key and leave the referrers field empty.
I recreated a different API key and left it blank referrer, but still do not see any player.
It might take some time to update the trailers if you’ve already fetched them with a bad API key previously.
When I Scrape Movies/series it don’t add them to the Titles in DB and the icons for the categories on home page don’t show my icon.
Any info on this ?

You will need to clear cache from dashboard > actions page, if the titles counter doesn’t update automatically.

Vebto made one mistake and is working hard to fix it. other products like apple and Microsoft always say back up data first in case of update issues. my best advise is wait a week or so before doing any update.
If you can, please post an full list with files changed. Like many others, i have make many changes, and is very hard to compare ALL files from the old an new version. Also, this update affect the streaming plugin? will still work?

As for plugin, it will work, just make sure you download latest version from codecanyon.

New update its very disapointed for me, i told the seasons are not visible with number (1 2 3…) about a month and you have not solved the problem, you said add new designs and have not added. You would not even solve existing problems, category last movie/last tv show, for streaming plugin when put a server on a movie trailer not deleted but remain tab ‘trailer’. In movie/tv show page show last title not most voted .

There was a small typo in the last update with a pre-built menus, to fix it, you will need to open your database with phpMyAdmin (or similar software), open options table, edit menus row and change ‘aective’ to ‘active’ or you can use this query to delete it instead, you’ll be able to create a fresh menu then from dashboard > menus pages.
Delete from options where name = ‘menus’
Or you can send us your credentials for cpanel and we’ll fix it for you.

We’ve submitted a fix for that, you can fix it manually until it’s approved by opening app/database/migrations/2013_12_07_105409_create_images.php and removing the following line
$table->index(‘title_id’);

Yes, it is compatible.
I just followed your update instructions, word for word, and destroyed the working install.. further, after restoring previous version again I notice that the streaming plugin no longer works with you-tube.. a notice advising the app / script is no longer compatible..
I realise that the cost of the script is low and that there is an expectation that users must deal with fixes etc.. but is there any way to pay a higher fee and have the script work without having to spend hours debugging issues after a simple update etc?

Yes, a fix was submitted and approved for both mtdb and streaming plugin, everything should work now. If still have any problems please use the support tab and send us your site url. Cheers!
Still no fix for the Chrome browser bug after all these months?
1. Click Movies on the menu bar.
2. Set filter criteria, such as movies before 1995 in the Adventure category.
3. Click a movie listing to see the movie details page.
4. Hit the back button and notice the search results have reset and are no longer filtered (i.e. no longer showing movies before 1995 in the Adventure category).
This makes searching or filtering movies in Chrome unusable. Works fine in Firefox and IE.

It’s not an easy fix unfortunately, due to the way filtering works currently. And it’s not really a bug, filters are simply not set in the url so when you navigate back it resets. We’ll try to resolve it in a future update though.
It’s not a bug but it works on Firefox and Internet Explorer. Sounds like a design flaw…
