Hi I would like to know if by installing this plugin the site will become AA compatible? Also how does this compare to services like accessbee
Hello! The Readabler plugin is WCAG AA compatible but it does not make the whole site compatible.
Hi thanks for your answer – I just didn’t get if the plugin dosn’t make my site AA, What does it do?
The plugin makes the site content accessible via different options available in popup window settings, you can see them in our demo. But for the entire site compliance with WCAG, it must suit additional requirements.
Hi, in which languages is the plugin available? I need a Czech language. Is it possible to edit the texts?
Thanks Honza
Hello! The plugin is available for translation into different languages. Besides, the list of all supported languages for the Text-to-Speech feature here https://cloud.google.com/text-to-speech/docs/voices
Can you please check if the ADHD tool works for you in Mozilla Firefox? On my page only the screen darkens and no highlight appears. Also, I can’t leave this mode there. It works without problems on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
Hello! Thank you for letting us know about the issue. We’ll consider this as soon as possible and update the plugin if necessary. Please stay tuned for our updates.
Thank you for the update. The function works in Firefox, but now I cant leave this mode anymore. Clicking the button (with active ADHD mode) does not open the modal – in no browser.
Edit: The button disapeared after activating ADHD mode in Firefox and Edge (Chrome works) and jumps to the bottom of the page. Only doubleclick opens the modal now with active ADHD mode.
Please clear your site cache and browser cache as well since we can’t reproduce the problem on our side. If the problem persists, provide us your site link to check it.
Tried it with no success. I send you a pm.
We have already mailed you and fixed the issue.
Thank you very much! Great support!
Hey, is it working ok with Elementor? and is there widgets for Elementor? or Shortcodes?
Hello! The plugin works regardless of the builder you use. For now, the widget for Elementor is not provided but you can use the specific attributes https://docs.merkulov.design/readabler-wordpress-plugin-settings/#Open-Button to add accessibility settings window to different content elements like button or image.
Hello, I’ve two issues with the plugin.
First, even though I have configured the json api key for google text to speech. The text to speech button does not appear.
Second, I know this must be a compatibility issue with my theme but I could not find the problem. When I make the content bigger, the dialog goes off screen. If you can help me out with those two I will appreciate it
You can check the website at https://cap.inovatso.com.br
Ops, about the second one it is working now. So I’m having problems only with text to speech not appearing.
Hello! Please note the Text to Speech option works with highlighted text. So you need to enable this feature in the popup windows settings and then select the text to be voiced https://prnt.sc/10m1txw
Great plugin! Is there a setting for z-index of the popup? A german translation is not available for all the descriptions?
Hello! There are 3 positions of the popup display https://prnt.sc/10m1k9k. Besides, it is draggable and can be placed in any convenient place on the page.
The plugin is ready for translation into any languages https://merkulove.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007884358-How-to-translate-the-plugin- If you have any issue with this, please specify which words or phrases are not translated.
Thank you for your answer. I need to change the z-index because the main menu of my avada theme covert the popup: https://prnt.sc/10m28m1
#mdp-readabler-popup {
z-index: 99999;
}
Thank you! Sometimes the solution is so easy! Perhaps you can add this to the official settings
Great work!
Yes, we will add it in the next update.
Thanks for the update and including my request (。♥‿♥。)
We are always happy to help you!
Hi, this looks awesome. Just wanted to ask if its possible to trigger the panel via a button or something? Not a fan of having too many sticky widgets.
Hello! Yes, you can open the popup with settings via the button using the specific attribute – https://docs.merkulov.design/readabler-wordpress-plugin-settings/#Open-Button
Apologies if this is covered, I have bookmarked, looks fab. Is it possible to change the location of the button as I have a chatbot at the bottom right. Thanks
Hello! You can select one of the available button positions https://prnt.sc/105mice in the plugin settings.
Presale question: Is there any method to remove this text at the end? https://prnt.sc/zrxje2
Hello! Yes, the text can be removed via the plugin setting.
Very good plug and I look forward to its further development!
Thank you for choosing our plugin! We do our best to support and develop our products.
Working under php 8 ?
Hello! Yes, it works with php 8
Great updates to it so far, something I would also like would be an option to disable the plugin (scripts & front end view) if on a mobile device or even better anything < less than.
Hi, this feature is already available, please use the Assignments tab to enable/disable the plugin on specific pages or conditions.
Get updates so far, It would be nice if we could instead of adding text to the Accessibility Statement Settings we could link to an existing page
Hello! Got it, your request has been added for consideration in the next update.
HI, is plugin translateble? is WPML friendly? thanks
Hello! Yes, the plugins are ready for translation into different languages, please read more here https://merkulove.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007884358-How-to-translate-the-plugin-
We have not tested it with the WPML plugin but really hope they are compatible. Will be glad if you let us know in case of problems with it.
hi, is this plugin ist editable to convert to another language? names “ADHD Friendly Mode”
Hello! You can translate any plugin setting using a convenient translation tool for you.
This is compatible with Flatsome and Tablet/Mobile optimized?
Hello! Please read about the compatibility https://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-accessibility-plugin-readabler/30369205/faqs/46574 The plugin is optimized for mobile/tablet, you can check it on the demo.
Looks great and added to my favs. I would look at the following on the plugin, broken ARIA reference, empty form labels & empty buttons. Once these minor things have been corrected I will be purchasing.
Hey! I’m not sure if I understood your message correctly. The plugin does not fix the HTML markup, that is, if there was a button on the page without aria-label, it will remain the same after installing the plugin. As for the plugin window itself, there are aria-labels and all the necessary attributes of HTML tags. If you find something similar in the code of the accessibility window, let us know (help@merkulov.design) and we will definitely fix it in the next update.
And yes, we can consider a request for adding a feature “fix HTML page code”. To do this, you need to be a customer and write to our support team. In the message, try to explain in as much detail as possible how the requested feature should work.
I was pointing out that your plugin does not meet accessibility guidlines, these are the things that need correcting, broken ARIA reference, empty form labels & empty buttons. Video for explination https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/2677655?key=75876f8b0cf70ba199b7c5a552bbc572 & also confirmed in Google Lighthouse.
I’m not moaning I like what this plugin does and will definitely purchase once these bits are corrected.
Resolved. Thank you for paying attention to this issue.
cool .
Thanks!
