Hi, i have some pre-sales questions:
1) Which is the size of the app (megabytes)?
2) Does it work on shared hostings?
3) What if we need to update codeigniter? Do we always have to rely on your updates for this (to update to the latest version of codeigniter)?
This last question is important to me as i’ve seen projects come and go with no support on how to update Codeigniter (specially to deal with security updates).

2 – Yes, codeigniter works fine on shared hosting.
3 – Every version that releases new, we are updating the components to its latest version including CodeIgniter is in 4.1.9 but you can install or update any component through composer.
Eg: composer update codeigniter4/framework

Looks solid and there are 2 important things that i couldn’t find:
- GDPR Settings: Option for the user to A) Export the data about him B ) Delete his account (right to be forgotten). Penalties are heavy.
- Option to force the user to give consent to the terms of the website through a popup and a message, a link and 2 buttons (accept or reject) that we can define.
For example…
This Website uses cookies. You can read more about this and our terms right here (link to a generated page where we can provide some information) + a Button to Accept thar or Reject (in case that is rejected, redirect the visitor to another url).Penalties are also heavy here.
That’s why it would be good if these 2 things could be added.
Edit:
Found a “Terms and Conditions” box (although couldn’t test if it enforces the user to accept or reject and trackes that action).
That would basically leave the “GDPR” features as something that couldn’t find.

- Yes, this part of the notification of the use of cookies will come on the front-end, in the registration you have the option to activate the terms of use.

I have tested all the functions of your product including email/twilio/recaptcha/2FA/asw-s3. You have a lot of bugs, many (almost half) functions are not coded correctly, I spent three days just correcting all the bugs I came across. Some problems I would not even consider as bug, I will give an example, in the add notification form you offer the option to additionally send notifications by email and sms, but you didn’t even write a function in the back which will execute it… I see that the user above complained about the datatable, yes it’s also a small bug in the big list of bags. In summary, the product is fine for advanced users that will know how to fix bugs and omissions.

I apologize if I gave you a reason to misinterpret my comment. The aim of the comment is not based on criticism but on a realistic view of all relevant facts related to your product. I think it is important for envato users to know that your product is not “out of the box” but that it takes some time to fix the bugs, that doesn’t mean I don’t think the product is good, especially since as you stated in the description your product is “useful script for developers”, so I can confirm that the project is really time-saving, and as I see in the next update will be bug-free, so future buyers will not have problems as buyers before the update. Just keep working on the project, you have potential.

Hi, the system is developed using CodeIgniter 4 it uses a filter that validates which controllers are public and which are private and checks if the user is logged in and if he has permission for the controller and method he wants to access.

API Security recommendations in next version please. 1.Rate limiting. Setting a threshold above which subsequent requests will be rejected (for example, 10,000 requests per day per account) can prevent denial-of-service attacks. 2. Allowed IP Address for API access set by each user account.
