pre-sale question: Wp Hover box has a bug on Safari (see https://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/34652/hover-box-incompatible-with-safari ). is this plugin bugged too? if i buy it, will it solve the issue?

Hi Just purchased and installed. Issue Im having is the image is being zoomed” eg:I have height of box set to 258, my image is 258. but the image is being cutoof around edges and is streched/zoomed.

Any ideas ?

Hello, Yes it will be like this, image will be set based on container width.

But please provide your website details, so we have a quick look and give solution.

Site is local only right now…Why does it alter image if image is set the same as container width ? Its stretching it, losing quality, must be a way to stop that from happening ?

Yes, you set the image container width.

Please follow this steps

1) From image hover settings give extra class (Last Field in settings) for e.g class name—> image-container-class

2) In your css, give width to that class.

for e.g

.image-container-class{
  width: 250px;
}

You mean Text are coming slow, right?

If so then try

animation-delay: 0.2s ! important;
transition-delay:0.2s ! important;
}

Same for jag-hoverimage-title and jag-hoverimage-short-desc class.

Now no such option is there. But if you are developer the you can override action in your theme.

In next version will keep in mind to add option to open link in new tab.

Hi, great plugin! Just wondering if it’s possible to get the hover action to show on a mobile? If not is it possible to set the hover to be on always on a mobile, but only on hover on a computer?

Hello

1.You mean hover effect for mobile ? If so then yes it’s possible for mobile device. To see hover effect for mobile you need to hold touch on image.

2. To set hover effect always on mobile and Hover for computer : you need customize css in your custom css.

I checked in Mobile and it’s working fine. On hover of image we can see hover content.

For mobile device you set hover content as default?

I’ve checked Safari and Chrome on iOS and it doesn’t work on either. I’ve tried 2 phones too to check if it was the phone, but neither show the hover.

Is that a photo of an actual phone or an emulator? It works on emulators on the computer, but not on real phones. I’ve had several people in the office try it too. :-S

I’ve set the first image to on by default and that works. It’s the touch to hover that’s not working.

I’ve tried disabling all plugins other than VC and running default theme too, but it still doesn’t work on a real device. thanks
