Hi, i sent you a message, about this project and your rollbar combination…
Hi there,
I followed the instructions but it seems to cause other images on my page to not display. I’ve checked there are no conflicting IDs and there aren’t any! Would appreciate your help.
http://www.future-visions.co.uk/clients/ram/index.html“backslider” div is positioned element with z-index = 0. I checked your example and it seems all images are hidden under “backslider”. So you may fix this by changing ”.backslider” z-index to negative value like ‘-10’.
Perfect! That worked a treat, thank you. Great script
You beat me to it!
I was planning on building something just like this in the next few days.
This, however, is very slick – I haven’t looked at the code but you can tell you’ve put a lot of effort into your presentation.
Congratulations on a great looking plugin, I hope it sells well! Sam
Thanks, Sam!
In competition between authors you always can built something better even if something alike already exist! )
I’m having trouble with any images showing up as a slideshow. I have all the files uploaded into the correct locations but may be having some trouble with the script.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hello, sorry for late response, I returned from vacation few hours ago. To check script errors (if any) I need URL to the page with BackSlider plugin. Would that be possible?
flGravity,
Great work.
Having trouble with the Javascript activate code.
Line 8 has a Syntax Error.
1.<script type=”text/javascript”> 2. $(document).ready(function(){ 3. $(’#bs0’).backslider({ 4. mode:’timer’, 5. effect:’slidefade’, 6. effectTime: 2000 7. }); 8. }); 9.</script>
Thanks!! I don’t see any mistakes in your example, so I need to take a look on page with backslider plugin itself. So please write me using mail form in my profile and give URL to the page. Thanks!
Good Job!
Awesome
You have a few modes but can you create a thumbnail mode too. It would be cool to see a thumbnail of the images.
Thank you
ok, will do.
Thank you
Very slick. One question: can you adjust the z-index of the controls so that controls can be forced above the page content? When I reduced my browser screen width (to verify responsive nature), the controls became unusable. Timer no doubt still works in that scenario, but would controls still work on an iphone screen width, etc.?
Thanks for comment! Well I think it won’t be good if controls will be above the site content on small screens. It’s better to put everything in a div and set min-width to some amount that would be enough for BackSlider to have some space like in preview, and main content flow aside
This is super cool. Job well done!
Thanks!!
