Unfortunately there is no integrated payment GW.
OpenTok, TokBox deactivated my account. They are no longer offering free accounts. They want $50.00 per month. So, this script is no longer viable. Do you plan on updating it with another free API?
The same thing for me. I’ve created new (from different IP) and seems all is working now.
P.S. I’m searching for new API, but can’t find such good one as OpenTok.
Why not make this script WebRTC with no server required? You know, P2P. There is another script on CC that offers this type of configuration.

Yii is not huge as Symfony or Zend. So the load on hosting is minimum.
Also I’m not planning to develop the same script in native PHP, because I still have to use my own, let’s say, micro framework, which will be not well documented and may have some security vulnerability.

Hi there, I have a couple questions about this script: - You mentioned that the script only supports single room, can I ask if there’s a limitation between the current script or OpenTok? What I want to know if it’s an absolute NO or it’s possible if we get a developer ourselves to build into multi chat
- You also mentioned IE doesn’t support WebRTC, does that means this script does not support IE at all or only some versions of IE? Or when it’s IE it will be using Flash?

1. Speaking about rooms. This is limitation of current script, not opentok.
2. If you want to develop multi chat rooms, then the program flow(both client and server sides) must be written from scratch.
3. Opentok refused to use flash technology in favor to webRTC, so there is no more flash support. Also I was unable to run webRTC on IE

1. Install my script in sub directory
2. Create a simple page in WP panel and insert iframe (which will refer to folder where you installed script) into HTML

Perhaps a silly question but can you tell me if I bought several versions of your software for different sites, I am assuming I still could use just 1 OpenToc account?

Yep, OpenTok charges 50$ per month. Yes, you can use 1 opentok account for several website, the only thing is that total number of minutes will be calculated from all websites.
You can cheat a little bit, by creating new account each month, but be aware, you can be banned as soon as opentok will know about it.

We are having a small issue with the software. When we log out, and try log back in, we get “User with such name already exists”. Any ideas what may be going on there? We have tested from different browsers and machines.

Actually every name we sign in with stays. So video chat says 9 users online which are test names we logged in with and have loged out but they remain?

For this needs you should run cron jobs, because it’s unreal to clear session if user logged out without pressing “logout” button. Read here how to do that.
Forza020, we already setup cron job to run every minute and followed every instruction in your documentation? That is why I am lost to what is the issue.
Also even if you click logout it makes no difference.

No way of using this without the OpenTok account ? Changing your script to be independent ? They changed policy, and they could do so again in the future, thus resulting in a plugin that would require a subscription at OpenTok or if they close or else.

Unfortunatelly, there is no way to create video calls without OpenTok. They are server provider.
