Hi, please see below. i posted it six days ago but you have not replied. Please help! Thanks…

...Hi, I’m looking for advice on how to include the search function at the top of the accordion. I asked previously and you suggested using the following:

[ct-accordion-menu menu=”Main” search=”top”]

Thanks for this, but the accordion shortcode starts with:

[ct-accordion skin=”minimal”]

How would i adapt this to include the search parameter code you provided? Sorry, I’m not a coder! I don’t understand what goes in the ‘menu menu’ part and the “Main” part. I’ve played around with it and got the search bar in place but it doesn’t search for anything.

Please help!! Many thanks in advance. Cheers, Jeff.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply here. Please try to use
[ct-accordion search="top"]
shortcode. The example above illustrated how to use the parameter “search”. “Search” the same like “skin” is a shortcode parameter. Here you can learn more about shortcodes.

Thanks, createIT

Hi, I posted this six days ago and you have not replied. I really need help with this and I am a paying customer!

Hi, this is a great plugin. One simple question…I’ve placed the provided shortcode successfully on the page but can’t see how to include the search function. I need this at the top of the page. Many thanks in advance. Cheers, J.

Hi! You need to use for that “search” parameter and insert it to your shortcode. So, instead of, for example

[ct-accordion-menu menu="Main"]
, use
[ct-accordion-menu menu="Main" search="top"]
. This shortcode will display Search field at the top of you accordion.

Thanks, createIT

Is possible I can put an icon next to the title of the menus?

Hi! Unfortunately we don’t have this feature in our plugin. Best regards, Julka

Hello,

Some pre-sale questions:

1) Does it work fine with WP 4.0?

2) I want to use it as a sidebar accordion menu so please clarify if this is possible.

a) Each “tab” is a Top Level Menu Item with a link that the user clicks and loads the linked page.

b) On that page the exact same sidebar is present and now the specific Tab is open upon page load and it’s content is several “Second level menu items” that are other page links.

c) The user now clicks one of the second level menu items that lead to another page (again same exact sidebar) and the “Current Menu Item” (link) is highlighted.

In other words can this plugin be used as a menu with proper navigation functionality so that the user can easily find its way through the content?

This will be a secondary menu on a sidebar for certain pages only. As my main menu I use Ubermenu so I guess there will not be any compatibility issues with it.

Excuse my many questions but it needs to be able to do these so I can use it.

Thanks in advance.

Hello! 1) Yes it does. 2) Yes – it is also widget, so if you want to use it in sidebar it won’t be any problems with that. 3) :) Additionally you can use accordion shortcode, which allows you easily use it elsewhere in page content.

Installed the plug-in on a test site with my theme. Yours is the only plug-in activated at the moment. Each menu item displays a bullet outside of the colored text area. Is this a conflict with my theme or …?

Ah, my theme allows me to make custom css changing the following from disc to none did the trick: . entry-content ul li {list-style-type: none;}

But now it messed up all my lists. Haha … where can I surgically insert the change in your plugin so as not to affect my entire theme?

Ok, now I’m just modifying the .ctAccordion.skin-pointer lines for the skin that I want to use – for each menu level. But still seems I’m doing it the hard way.

Actually I think you have a very good product. But I think it needs some work to make it more customizable for the average user from within Wordpress. Anyway, this should work out nicely for my mobile users.

Hello,

Try inserting Custom CSS like:

.ctAccordion > li{ list-style: none; }

Can I use custom taxonomies along with jQuery Searchable 3 Level Accordion ?

Regards, Vahid

Hello,

Unfortunatly we do not support this feature.

Does this work with the “Flatsome” theme?

Hi! This is plugin created for WordPress themes, so it should work. However we didn’t tested it with this theme, so we cannot guarantee full compatibility.

Thanks, createIT

Hi, First of all great pluggin.

One question, I have a big menu with 100 links and when I try to save the menu with the last changes the menu doesn´t save. I can´t insert more links, do you have any suggestion to solve the problem?

Thanks. Regards.

Hello! Can you please start new ticket on our support forum with your WordPress admin panel login information and (if possible) ftp access, co we can check the issue? Thanks, createIT

Hi I would like to know how to use with the function wp_dequeue_script.

Is there any handle for the plugin to use with wp_dequeue_script function?

Thank you

Hi there, I have tried send you a message via your support site, but you do not have this plugin listed in your support forum, therefore there is no place to send you a support ticket.

The plugin works except for one issue that my client hates. When you click on a page link within an open accordion section, the accordion section closes and then reopens as the new page loads. Is there any way to keep the selected accordion section open? My client feels the closing and opening makes the loading page “jump”.

Thank you!

Hi, I want to use this plugin to create a basic stacking menu that serves as a secondary navigation for my site. Is it possible to place it 100% across my widgetized pages? I do not have sidebars and only wish to use it 100%. If this is possible it is perfect for me :)

Hi, you can embed a accordion shortcode using do_shortcode() inside your templates – without a need of sidebars and widgets.

Thanks, createIT

Hello i was wondering (before buy your plugin) if it’s possible to implement an automatic scroll on long sub level menu ?

Hey,

Yes, this is possible, but would need our custom coding for that. Please get in touch with us at premium@createIT.pl so that we could further discuss.

cheers, createIT

hi,

great plugin! my issue is that when the page is loading the menu flashes open and then compresses to how it should look. i happens not only the first time you navigate to my site, but as the user clicks around the different pages on the site- sometimes the accordion menu flashes open and then shut. i checked Safari and Firefox and both are affected. i checked the comments here and it seems that other have had an issue with this, but i could find a resolution.

sounds like a typical Flash Of Unstyled Content issue, please get in touch with us at http://createit.support providing URL to your website, so that we could further investigate :)

cheers, createIT

i couldn’t find the place to write a ticket for this product on your support site, so i’m answering you here. the url is photo.alisonshumanmedia.com

Hi, I am considering to buy your plugin. I have only one question; is it possible to add an icon or picture to the name of the accordionbars as is displayed in this picture: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23483470/Accordion%20%2B%20images%20in%20title.png

here you see that a pen, an eye and a book are added to the title. Can this be done? Thanks.

Hi,

By default it’s not possible but every item has unique CSS class which should allow you to add those icons using CSS. If you are interested in customizing this plugin for you, please feel free to contact us at premium@createit.pl

Thanks, createIT

Can I use this to filter wordpress custom taxonomies? Do you have a multiple select option? Thanks!

Hi,

These options are not supported, sorry. If you are interested, we can develop them for you – just contact premium@createit.pl

hi, before buying i have some questions:

will it work with
  • wp 3.9.1
  • jquery.js?ver=1.11.0
  • jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.2.1
  • will it work with the newspaper theme sold here on envato?
are there any known conflicting plugins?

Hi,

- it’s compatible with 3.9.1 - jquery – sure - it should work

If there are conflicts with other plugins we are here to help you out.

Thanks, createIT

Hi, I know this is not quite what an accordion would generally be used for but… I’d like to display an accordion with three panels (each with a booking calendar inside) but the client wants each accordion panel to be open by default. (Then they can be closed as per the visitors needs to make the page tidy.) Is that an option with this plugin? Many thanks.

Hi,

Currently there is no such option to allow accordion to be expanded by default. We can customize it for you – if you are interested please contact premium@createit.pl for a quote.

Thanks, createIT

Great, thank you. I will speak with my client and see how keen they are to get this feature.

Okay, so we just purchased your plugin, and while it seems really cool, due to the theme it would be substantially more useful to us if it could be used in place of a navigation menu instead of in a widget.

While I could probably force the theme to play nice with widgets with css and javascript or what have you, it would be sufficiently costly, temporally speaking, that it honestly might not even be worth using the plugin.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi,

You can try to embed shortcode with accordion and place it inside your template like:

 <?php echo do_shortcode('[ct-accordion-menu ....]')?>
. If that still doesn’t work for you and you are interested in your plugin customization, please contact us at premium@createit.pl with your site details and detailed description of how exactly you would like it to work – I’m sure we can figure something out.

Thanks, createIT
