Very simple & beautiful, With csv import/export future I would buy it right away, but without it in this digital century it will not make any sense. What if my client wants to update his/her account on a weekly basis by simply uploading CSV file from a bank. CSV structure should support US & UK, or have a form where it could be customized from / properly written documentation how adapt CSV export to client needs.

Is it possible to have the sort controls active on those reports that have date selections? Possibly having some guidance on how to accomplish this in the documentation may be helpful. During my review, I didn’t notice that this feature was missing on some reports. Any hints on how to do this?

Date Selection is available for all Reports, Which sort control are you talking can you explain thanks.
I’m wanting to be able to sort by account id in the general ledger summary and the trial balance. All of the other reports are OK.
Hi John that is not available sort method right now, But i am working on update of the script i will add this feature thansk.
If you are looking for sorting them not by account name something else, let me know i will send you some new files which will always give you required sort, but no option yet to sort yourself thanks.

I have been looking for this script for a while- Can you add a date for debit and credit as well when you update. For example the expense date is X but the credit date is Y. so we have a date reference. maybe add an optional field before credit & also Before debit with date picker.

Actually i tried to keep it as general ledgers, so when a credit transaction happens, the same date and time a debit transaction is happening if you say both are different dates on a signle voucher then the meaning of double entry does not make sense. But yes as each transaction saving its date from voucher date this is possible to take every transaction diffrent date thanks for suggestion i will consider that if you buy script i will do that the time you buy thanks. else you have to wait for update i will make that optional.
I was able to add multiple lines in the JV, however, it seems that the decimal part isn’t being considered or kept so to balance I needed to mis-state by one dollar to be able to finish the transaction. The form to input amounts should probably be wider to hold at least a 500,000.00, I’d think. Additionally, the dollar sign appears at the end of the column instead of at the beginning as customary. I tried to remove it in the setup screen, but it is a required filed. Most users will have all transactions in one money unit, so I think making this optional would be good [if not maybe I could assign a non-printable character….].

This is a great script. It has everything that I need for setting up and managing the accounts for a few small start-ups. Anyone with basic knowledge of double entry bookkeeping can set this up. If I hadn’t found this script I would have had to start using QuickBooks and I simply don’t need all the features QB offers. You got 5 Stars from me.
My feature suggestions: Provide an easy way to plug this into one of the Admin Templates that are available. Batch Import/Export feature

I just purchased your system. I wanna know if there is a way to export the reports to pdf, csv, and also print. This is a very important feature
Thank you for purchasing my script. 2 Features export in PDF, and CSV is on way and you will get update on them within a week for sure. And about print you can always use ctrl+p in windows browser to print the reports. You can start using script, and when you have some transactions i will provide you PDF, and CSV generator for reports as well Thanks again for purchasing my script.
