Is there a way to change the active page’s link style? I would like to place a little arrow by the current page or maybe just a different color.

Sure – every expanded element has li.open so to find expanded link you could try something like:
li.open > a.

Nice that worked. I just placed it .ctAccordion.skin-classic > li > ul > li.open > a { color:white; } And wallah! Open link is changed!! Thank you
I’ve purchased this plugin and added it to a widget area but all I get are the main menu headers, there is no accordian effect and the sub menus don’t appear:

I purchased the plug-in, and successfully installed it. My problem is that when the page is loading, all the menu items and submenu items are listed, unstyled, and then after the page loads, they go to their nested view. Is there anything I can do so that doesn’t list all of the items unstyled like that?

Hi i’m a bit lost, i created a menu and used the shortcode to put in a page.
but i don’t know how to get it to work with a fold-able menu what codes should i ad. I read the documents but that didn’t help me to understand what to do.
So i want to stay in the same page when i open a selection of the menu and have the text and pictures in there. and when i choose an other menu item the open one should close and the knew one open within the menu in the same page.
At this moment when i choose a menu item it opens in a new page.Hope this makes sense. A video would be great with this pluggin to show all the possibilities.

Hi there! Thanks for building such a beautiful plugin! I am buying your plugin for one of my projects and I need to know if it’s able to do what I had in mind. Is there any way to make the accordion opened and disabled on desktop screen only? (So that it looked like a normal footer menu with the disabled accordion button as its’ title)

Out of the box we do not have this option but we can customize it for you (for example list will be only created if screen resolution is smaller than X)

Yes, it’s possible in the JS lib itself, but such option isn’t pulled to WP version. It’d require some customization then.

This plugin is awesome, and you give the best support! I was wondering if you knew how I could open the first panel on page load. I tried adding the “open” class to the first panel, but “close” is always overriding it.

Accordion automatically expands to a current level, depends when you currently are (when creating accordion from menu).
Currently there is no option to automatically expand it on first level, but we can always customize this plugin for you. If you are interested, please send me an email at support@createit.pl how exactly you are going to create an accordion and how customized version should work.

I just purchased the plugin: how do I get it into Wordpress? it’s not zipped and i tried zipping the folder and uploading it via the plugins upload option but wp rejected it. Do I ftp the folder into the plugins directory in my WP install? Do I need to include the license, which is in a separate folder?

Hi Melinochis, Inside downloaded package you will find folder “createit-jquery-3level-accordion-menu” – just copy it to your wp-content/plugins dir.
Another way is to pack this whole folder and use WP plugin installer – just select created archive and you are good to go.
We will include packed version into downloadable package on our next update.

When I go to my Downloads it doesn’t have “license certificate” it just has “Regular License” which just has the boilerplate stuff. I HAVE purchased the plugin; I have downloaded it and I have the receipts. The plugin comes up when I go to my “downloads” page, but does NOT have a license number. ?

I am trying to configure it right now and have a question:
I would like to have the navigation on the first level closed, so on click the lower levels become visible. But I want the lower levels (everything from second level on) to be fully opened. See here: This is what I mean

There are several ways how you can create your accordion: - use a widget - use a shortcode – shortcode can be inserted inside any text area like post or page like
[ct-accordion-menu menu="Menu"]– this will add accordion to your site and will use menu called “Menu”. Please refer to plugin documentation, section “Plugin usage – menu shortcode”.

Great Plugin! Question… Is there a way to make the current link a different color than the rest of the menu links. For example: if you were on the home page the home link would be a different color. I have tried using current-menu-item but it does not work. thanks so much

I was just wondering if there is any chance of you creating extra skins for this plugin?
The plugin is great as it is but I was looking for some extras if possible.
I am using the “Minimal” theme but would like the 2nd level of the menu to be 10px further to the right.
If the menu has a category tile and a 2nd level for posts, It would look great if it had a 10pixel dot on the left to signify that there was no level 3.
I would be willing to buy the extra skins if it is something you would be interested in.
Again, I would like to say that the plugin is great.
