I followed your instructions and it didn’t make any changes. The downloaded file has two folders: Sourcecode and InstallFile. In Sourcecode/TgMuApp/LangJson/es, I edited the text to get a correct translation of the user interface. Then, in Sourcecode/TgMuApp/tgmu.db (with SQLite Studio) under “lang/data,” I edited the language code and name; I also edited the messages that load by default in the “Messages” tab.
None of those changes worked.
When Visual Studio runs the project, it copies the source files to bin\{Debug|Release}\. If you only modify the files under Sourcecode\TgMuApp\, the next time you run the program those changes will be overwritten by the original files, or the program will continue to read the old files under bin.
Please follow these steps:
Open the project directory and locate:
Sourcecode\TgMuApp\tgmu.db (the seed database) This is the source file that will eventually be copied to bin.
In Visual Studio, select this file and set its properties:
tgmu.db → Copy to Output Directory = Copy if newer (and make sure you edited the newer version)
Quickly verify whether the program is reading your modified file:

Run the program.
After it runs, check the last accessed / modified time again to confirm it’s using the correct file.
Important: If your project contains a script or startup routine that copies the source database to the output folder every time the program starts, you need to disable that logic — otherwise, any edits you make in the bin directory will be overwritten the next time you launch the program.
