can we add a custom gateway? any docs for it?

1). Just come to know according to EU & UK laws effective April 2025 (Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 and CMA guidance).

All mandatory fees (including platform fees, booking fees, taxes, and charges) must be included upfront in the price shown to consumers throughout the buying process, not just at checkout.

for eg – The course or session price on all pages should include platform fees. For example, if the course or session fee is £50 and there is a 3% platform fees, the price displayed everywhere should be £51.50 (including platform fees), not £50 + 3% at checkout page.

Since I cannot test this function in your demo version, please check and update the pricing logic in your source code asap as it is beneficial for all.

2). When will you add the option for the admin to manually add VAT Tax?

3). I have checked the Tutor profile – Resume Highlights – Certification & Awards. The certificate images are not clearly visible, and users are unable to zoom in. Additionally, there is no option to add hyperlinks for certificates or to add a certificate serial number. Please fix this.

4).Please add an option for the admin to set a minimum password length, for example, a minimum of 12 characters for users. Also, 2FA is very important and should be added.

Hello, i have pre-sale question. In demo version, we can not see the pricing model (after- Basic Details>Media > Pricing) when trying to manage courses. My question is: Is it possible to set a course which is not available for subsciption ? so student must paid separately (for example live conference or other)

Currently, it’s not possible to set a specific course outside of the subscription model so that students can purchase it separately. At the moment, courses are either all paid or all free.

I think in the latest upgrade, the student side withdrawal function should not be directly turned off. A more reasonable way is for administrators to choose to turn it on or off.

How to handle the refund if a student has a dispute over class?

Or where did the refunds after students canceled courses go?

Hi, I’ve set up Lernn LMS and purchased the Course Addon, Certificate Generator Addon, and Quiz Creation Addon. Now I want to integrate the SSLCOMMERZ payment gateway on the checkout page so students in Bangladesh can purchase courses easily.

Is there any official addon available for SSLCOMMERZ? Or can you guide me on how to add it manually as a custom payment gateway?

This is really important for me as I’m running my platform from Bangladesh.

Great to see Lernen with frequent updates – thanks for the hard work! A few important enhancements and fixes that would make it even better.

1. When will you add a custom Tax system in Invoices? This is very important.

2. Booking sessions are hourly only now; please add flexible durations (1 week, 15 days, 3 months, 6 months, custom) configurable by admin for tutors. Many want to hire on monthly or biweekly basis too.

3. Tutors can currently set sessions as short as 5 minutes, which is too short. Minimum booking should be 15 minutes or allow admin to set this limit for tutors.

3. Admin should have the option to restrict tutors to add only Vimeo or YouTube private External URLs for courses and disable MP4/video file uploads to prevent server/cloud overload. This is urgent. – I am waiting for this feature to roll out soon so that I can buy course add-on.

4. Signup form must allow users to choose between signing up as Tutor or Student explicitly.

5. Please add a Bootcamp feature where tutors can sell bootcamp courses with live tutor Zoom/meet account integration to this feature too.

6. Can we customize the role names “Tutor” and “Student”? This should be an admin option. Also, more diverse demo imports are needed – not just tutor/student but for tech courses/sessions too.

Security Features:

Please integrate reCAPTCHA for public forms/signup/login, add 2FA, and allow admins to enforce a minimum password length (e.g., 12 characters) from the dashboard – crucial for security.

Marketing Feature:

Please add marketing features: tutors can set discounts on individual courses/sessions subject to admin approval; admin can highlight featured or premium tutors; admin can run sale advertisements on top headers etc.
