HI, how do i get rif of the acf plugin ? I have never installed that – you are selling a consent plugin and then you are installing plugins with my consent .. really ????
Hi there!
Our plugin uses ACF to generate backend settings panel. It, however, does not collect any personal data, so it’s not subject to GDPR consent.
Thanks, createIT
Hello! Can you please check Ticket #0909479?
Hi!
Surething! Someone will get back to you ASAP
Thanks, createIT
Hello,
I’ve been purshaced Ultimate GDPR & CCPA plugin, and I tried to set it. But when I tried to chage the text for cookie pop-up window in the user part there is no change. Also I don’t have that much partners /939/ on my web site.
So my question is where to change and manage these options for your plugin.
I try to translate the plugin with WPML but the translated strings do ot view on the front-end and user part of the site.
Thanks in advance for your responce.
Have a nice day.
Hello!
Please note that we have two popups in our plugin. One, the fully editable with option to add custom text in each part of it, will be visible only if you disable the “TCF 2.2 integration” that is visible under “TCF Compliance tab”. If TCF is disabled, you can then edit everything under “Cookie Consent” settings.
The TCF popup text unfortunately is not editable (yet) because one of initial TCF 2.2 requirements was to use specific phrases and wording about types of data, data processing, partners, etc. in this very popup. But we’re currently working on adding some more customization options here. You can however limit the number of vendors/partners, by using Vendor ‘ID filter’ (in TCF Compliance tab). You can add here IDs of partners that you actually have to display only them.
Thanks, createIT
Hello, the downloaded file says it’s 5.3.6, but your changelogs say it should be 5.3.7 (02.12.2024) – Can you update the file?
Hello!
We’re sorry for the inconvenience. We just released version 5.3.8 with some compatibility updates and corrected versioning. It should be available for download withing minutes.
Thanks createIT
Dobrý deň. Môžem použiť jednu licenciu na doménu a jej subdomény, ktoré rozširujú možnosti domén? napr.: 1. mysite.com – hlavný web 2. blog.mysite.com – webová stránka s blogom, ktorý dopĺňa hlavnú webovú stránku 3. crm.mysite.com – crm, kam mám prístup len ja a klienti (tu by to bolo len na prihlasovacej stránke)
Hi there!
Yes, as long as all these sites are part of one end-product – you need just one license.
Thanks, createIT
Hi there! I’d like to use this plugin in a multisite installation, but with a shared cookie consent across all sites. Most of the sites have the same theme/plugins structure, and users frequently navigate between multiple sites. I’d like them to see a single cookie consent popup, regardless of the site they visit. Can you tell me if this is possible?
Hello!
If you install our plugin on the main domain the plugin can be activated on each sub-website separately. But each sub-website is using independent settings, so they can’t be set globally for all of them (but you can import/export settings between sites).
If the user will access mysite.com, click agree and then move to site1.mysite.com they will need to agree to them once more because, on each website, the plugin is working independently.
Thanks, createIT
Hi team, I’m getting “There was a problem with connecting to the cookie scanner. Skipped this url” on my site as well. I see this is a common problem as there are many others with the same issue.
What is the fix? I can’t use the plugin at all.
Thanks
Hi there!
First please make sure that you’re testing this on a publicly available URL. Second, if you are using ACF pro plugin independently on your site (or have a theme that uses it) it may cause a conflict with cookie scanner. We created a patch for to address the problem. It’s available in our documentation: https://gdpr-plugin.readthedocs.io/en/latest/issues/acf.html#content
Thanks, createIT
That was it! That’s fixed the issue. Thank you!
Great to hear that! Thanks!
One last question – whilst the wizard has started to work, I’ve scanned my website a few times for cookie but the Cookie Consent page keeps saying “The website has not been scanned yet.”
I also cannot see the consent pop-ups on my site.
Hi!
The main indicator of website being scanned is weather you have cookies present in Service Manager tab. So please check this first. Meantime I will check if I can recreate the issue with this message in Cookie Consent page.
Thanks, createIT
I’ve managed to get the scanner to work. Not sure what it was but it works now.
I can’t find anywhere to find add the cookie policy to my website. Can you advise where I can find the generated cookie policy?
Apologies – what I mean is show a page which explains what each cookie found on my site is / does. A bit like this page (example): https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies
Hi!
Apologies for the late reply! You can generate a table with information about each cookie by using the following shortcode on your Privacy Policy (or any other) page: [render_cookies_list]. Full list of available shortcodes can be found in “Introduction” tab of our plugin settings.
Thanks, createIT
I would like to express my gratitude to the plugin’s technical support team for their prompt assistance with setup and adaptation. My theme was incompatible with the plugin, but after reaching out to support, they provided code adjustments that resolved the issue. The plugin is now working perfectly. I greatly appreciate their professionalism and support!
Wow! Thank you so much! We’re happy to read this!
Hi, is your plugin also PIPA (South Korea), PDPA (Taiwan), APPI (Japan) compliant? If not can you make it? Thank you
Also is it compatible with the plugin JetEngine?
Hi!
From the quick research it looks like our plugin provides features to incorporate most of PIPA, PDPA and APPI requirements in terms of identifying a specific purpose for data use, obtaining consent, using legal bases for data processing, implementing security measures, and informing users in case of a data breach. Please note though that whether it will be compliant or not depends mostly on website’s admin and how plugin will be implemented, with what features and settings. About JetEngine – yes, it should work without any issues.
Thanks, createIT
Hello! I just bought the plugin with the license. I entered the license code, saved and yet when scanning cookies I get the message “It seems that license key is missing. Please make sure to fill in license key field.”
What am I missing? Thank you!
Hi there!
Upon checking it looks like a server issue with API that verifies the license keys. We’re working on it! Sorry for the inconvenience! i will keep you posted once it’s fixed.
Thanks, createIT
Hi there!
Our dev team checked the issue and it works as expected, some things to note though:
- please make sure that you’re using correct license key (it’s the Envato purchased code, available in Downloads section of your Envato account),
- please make sure that you’re testing it on a publicly available URL (it won’t work on localhost),
If you still have the problems with that – please contact our support at support@createit.com with test access to your site.
Thanks, createIT
Already with over 150 products purchased from Envato, I think I know how to enter the license of a module. The site is live. The problem was that ACF is used and it’s good that you have that fix. The license recognition has been resolved. However, I have a 3-day support ticket that I’m still waiting for an answer to. Thanks!
Will this work with SCF? I have really disliked ACF ever since they changed the bundle license so that repeter fields are not available and nags for license. My clients think it’s a nulled plugin because I have no license. SCF will soon have repeater fields and I would like to remove ACF completely. Or will it be double plugins now if I use SCF? Thanks.
Hi there!
We use ACF for the plugin’s admin panel, so unfortunately, it’s impossible to simply replace it with SCF because it would require rewriting parts of our code to add integration with SCF. However, we update ACF bundled with our plugin on a regular basis (a new update is also scheduled for the coming weeks).
Thanks, createIT
Can I activate the plugin it in a staging site, and can I use it in the production site (in different domain)? Or I need to revoke the licence before going to live, and activate again?
Thank you
Hi there!
You can use the single license on both staging and production site as long as it’s the product. However, if you notice any issues with plugin functionalities being blocked on production, please contact our support team, so they whitelist your license.
Thanks createIT
OK, thank you!
Dea Team!
Can you help me please, how can I translate the button texts, and other strings in the plugin to my language? I’d like to fine tune the strings.
As the plugin WPML compatible, is the language of the cookie banner automatically changes to the corresponding language if I using WMPL?
Thank you
Hello there!

Hi, my client told me that he uses ghostery.com chrome adblock and it brakes the plugin as it does not load any css and simply adds all consent popup window content after footer. I tested and there seems to be a “Never-Consent Automatically rejects cookie consent notices.” option that is causing this. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Hi!
Our plugin comes with two different types of cookie management. The standard one, available under “Cookie Consent” settings, allows you to pre-accept some essential/technical cookies that will be loaded always, no matter the browsers/users choices, because they do not contain any personal data anyway, but are essential for website functionality. You can select which cookies group will be pre-accepted, under Advanced Settings tab, here: https://scr.createit.com/8eziTUvnqBlkWh3m50tZ You can verify which cookies are assigned to which group in “Service Manager”.
To use this option, make sure that “TCF Integration” under TCF Compliance is disabled.
Hope this will resolve the issue, if not – please get in touch with us via support@createit.com
Thanks, createIT
Thanks. What I meant is if you use chrome and install chrome adblock addon from ghostery.com it breaks the plugin because the chrome addon has a function option “Never-Consent Automatically – rejects cookie consent notices.” If you disable it, then plugin works again. I tested on other sites (cookiehub etc) and there the popup notifications simply disappear and are not visible but gdpr plugin does not load any css files and shows broken window data after the footer section. Can you test it? Simply install ghostery.com addon and go to any page using the gdpr plugin. Then the consent window data will be visible after footer without any css or js.
Ok, I see, thanks. Yes, we will test it.
Is it possible to change the “Cookie settings” button to have different color from “Accept button”?
Hi!
Yes, it’s possible, but you would need to use Custom CSS code, please try to use something like the following: #ct-ultimate-gdpr-cookie-change-settings { border-color: #ffffff !important; background-color: #ff278b !important; color: #ffffff !important; }
You can place the code in Cookie Consent > Preferences > Custom Style CSS.
Thanks createIT
Hi, I paste the code to Cookie Consent > Preferences > Custom Style CSS and it does not change a thing :/.
I guess it is because I selected the background color on Button Styles section so it put an !important tag to the CSS too.
Can you help me out how to solve this?
Yeah sure, just please contact us with your page url via support@createit.com, so we could help you.
Thanks createIT
I use this plugin and it ads google ga4 tracking code. https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-google-analytics-integration/
Should I still add code to head of website?

Hi, error in my wp-content/debug.log
PHP Warning: Attempt to read property “ID” on null in /xxx/xxx/xxx/wp-content/plugins/ct-ultimate-gdpr/includes/shortcode/shortcode-terms-accept.php on line 99
Is it just me? (it’s possible, I’m getting error 500)
Thanks
UPDATE :
I think it was just me. The 500 errors were resolved by deactivating another plugin (ParcelPanel) and I haven’t seen the UltimateGDPR error since.
Thanks
Hi!
Ok, thanks for letting us know, glad to see you resolved it.
Thanks, createIT
Hi,
Sorry but this PHP error keeps spamming my debug.log :
PHP Warning: Attempt to read property “ID” on null in /xxx/xxx/xxx/wp-content/plugins/ct-ultimate-gdpr/includes/shortcode/shortcode-terms-accept.php on line 99
Can you pass this on to your developers?
Hi!
Sure thing, but can you contact our support via support@createit.com? It would be greate if you also could share what kind of settings do you use in “Terms and Conditions” and “Privacy Policy” settings under Ulitmate GDPR & CCPA. We will need this info for further debugging.
Thanks! createIT
Hi, there,
I’m waiting for an answer since September 20, 20:24 (UTC Paris) Email object: “Ultimate GDPR PHP Warning”
Thanks in advance.
I stand corrected, the support team responded to me quickly and efficiently. I simply didn’t receive a notification of their reply. You’re doing an amazing job, thank you!
How can we setup the accept cookies to not be displayed full page on mobile ?
Hi!
In Cookie Consent > Preferences > Position of the cookie popup you can select top/bottom left or top/bottom right for a more compact view. If you use TCF settings, you collapse the popup with this option: https://scr.createit.com/rkFlSXkOj8vqMdGxMT5B
Both solutions will make the cookie box more compact, however, still on small devices, it can cover a significant space, because we need to ensure the content is readable.
Thanks createIT
Why is your plugin incompatible with so many mainstream plugins? The compatibility checker says it doesn’t work with any of the following: Unlimited Elements for Elementor (Premium) Astra Pro Element Pack Pro Elementor Elementor Pro WPCode Lite MemberPress Importer QSM – Certificate QSM – User Dashboard Quiz And Survey Master Temporary Login Without Password The Plus Addons for Block Editor Pro WP File Manager ManageWP – Worker WPHelpere Yoast Duplicate Post Formidable Bootstrap Modal Formidable Forms Pro Formidable Visual Views JetTabs For Elementor MemberPress Account Nav Tabs MemberPress Corporate Accounts MemberPress Course Quizzes MemberPress Courses MemberPress Developer Tools MemberPress Downloads MemberPress Elementor Content Protection MemberPress MailChimp 3.0 MemberPress Pro Password Protected Post Types Order QSM – Extra Template Variables Readabler Redirection The Plus Addons for Block Editor Ultimate Addons for Elementor WP 2FA – Two-factor authentication for WordPress (Premium) WP Mail SMTP SEOPress
I used to use this plugin years ago and it was good but I had to uninstall it as it stopped working properly. I keep trying it every now and then as I have multiple licenses. Shame.
Hi!
Could you tell me what exactly in our plugin doesn’t work for you? Maybe we can help you with that? As for the compatibility checker – it only indicates which plugins are recognized by our plugin, and were manually integrated with GDPR, so e.g. cookies created by these plugins are automatically grouped and processed. in Service Manager. If a plugin is not on the list it just means that you need verify on your own if their cookies are correctly defined in Service Manager. Unfortunately, we can’t add there every possible plugin that is popular. We provided documentation on how to declare new plugins compatible with GDPR if needed, you can find it here: https://gdpr-plugin.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Integrate/sample.html#content
Thanks createIT
