Our plugin is to customize the default layout of WooCommerce variations. However, the behavior of changing the main image when a variation is selected, is handled by WooCommerce. Additionally, WooCommerce doesn’t allow multiple images per variation by default – only one image for a variation.
Our plugin does have a feature that changes images for specific trigger, but the other feature you want – a gallery per variation – is not included, you would need to find a 3rd solution for it, I’m afraid.

I have a presales question. On your description page it says ” Convert any variations into variation swatches for WooCommerce with a couple of clicks. When you activate the WooCommerce Product Variations Swatches plugin, the variations which were displayed in the drop-down menu will be converted into the variation swatches for WooCommerce.”
So I have many products with variations already set up in WooCommerce. They currently just have the default drop downs. So are you claiming that if I buy this plugin (as opposed to the free version, which I already tried and had lots of trouble with) that it will just work (convert the drop downs to variation swatch images from what I already have images inside the default Woo variations) right upon installing and activating without me configuring each and every product manually? That is what I was doing with the free plugin and I had to uninstall it because it did not make sense doing this for hundreds of products (which I upload efficiently with csv). Thanks. Or show me your documentation on it.

I’m afraid it’s not possible. In the premium version, we have an option called “Default display type”: https://snipboard.io/mwHvkN.jpg But I’m afraid there’s no option for “Image” or “Variation Image” at the moment.
You would need to configure the setting for global/custom attribute as needed, still, if you want to show them as image, dropdown, or color swatches.

Hello dear, issue is resolved by manually editing a code: I put just min to 2, instead of 3. Seams code don’t go slide if 3 are present, only 4. for product list. settings.php <input type=”number” name=”single_product_list_slider_min” min=”2” step=”1”

There is a problem with php 8.1.29 and when the plugin is activated, the counter page becomes unavailable. Please follow up and review version 1.1.3 of the plugin

I am facing a similar issue to hwvaubel since i have updated to version 1.1.3. The issue is in archive (category) pages. There seem to be a ton of console errors pointing to illegal characters added to the body of the page. THe errors go away if i disable the plugin…

Hi, presake question: does that work on appearance only or also on the logic. for example if i have attribute A, containing A1 and A2, and I have attribute B, containing B1 and B2, I have a product having only variants of A1+B2 and A2+B1, when i choose A1, will only B2 show up, or both B1 and B2 show up both?

As your example above, the feature that makes “when i choose A1, will only B2 show up” is supported by WooCommerce. And you can see it behaves that way when our plugin is disabled.
If you use our plugin, it has option to either show both B1 and B2, or hide the irrelevant terms when you select A1. For this, I recommend trying our free plugin: http://bit.ly/product-variations-swatches-for-woocommerce
You can use the option “Out of stock” under Swatches Profile settings.

i while ago i reported an issue that if we update from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 the swatches are completely missing in product archive pages. They are just simply gone. When we role back to 1.1.2 they are shown again. We didn´t change any setting, etc. Tested it a few times and 1.1.3 seems to be the problem. On single product site they are shown. Also checked again settings and everything was activated to show them on archives.
Any reports other then mine that this is happening?

now i had time to go deeper to this problem. i deactivated all plugins all custom code (css, javascript, etc.) so that i had a raw theme with your plugin and cleared cache.
i found out, that after your update to 1.1.3 there is a problem with your custom positioning of the swatches on archive pages, it doesnt work anymore:
settings > swatches on product list > position
if it is set to “custom position only” the swatches aren´t shown anymore. this worked perfectly before (1.1.2). i didn´t change the hook for the position. it is the same and it is the correct one “ocean_after_archive_product_item” for oceanwp theme. i double checked and i can hook there with other plugins and functions. also tested other hooks.
if i set the the position to a pre defined value like “after title” it works, but we need it to be on that specific hook and custom hook only.
could your developers please have a look into it, as it seems there might be a bug after the update.

The warning you see is for the option “Assign page” under “Swatches on Product List” settings. For more details, you can see our documentation.
Basically, this feature is to enable/disable swatches for product list on specific pages.

Settings for these conditions in the backend, is handled by the site admin directly if they want to use this feature. And the warning is to ensure the admin knows the conditional tag function of WordPress well when they use it, to avoid incorrect usage which might lead to broken PHP function, and affect the website operation.
Please don’t worry about hacking. In case someone want to hack the website, if the hacker can access the backend with full capabilities access, then they don’t need that option at all.

Is there a reason why this is not working on mobile devices? We have 3 attributes/selections and on desktop the price immediately displays when making the 3rd required variation selection. But on mobile, the price never displays and therefore we can’t add it to the cart. Please advise.

I found the issue. It was a SiteGround site optimization plugin preventing the display of the product amount on mobile devices. Once I deactivated that the cart started working normally again. Thanks for your time!

Simple question, how can I move the attribute title to be above the attribute choices? By having it occupy the first table cell, it makes the display look crowded. Especially when the attribute title contains 3 or 4 (or more) words. Do you have a hack for this?

Hey, thanks for your response! What I’m referring to is the attribute title itself which displays to the left of the attribute options on the product display page. If there was a way that it could be placed above the variation icons then that would allow less crowding. See here how the titles are left of the variations: https://tinyurl.com/25bqjo2d This creates a crowded look. If those titles (i.e. Choose Your Experience, etc.) had an option to move above the variation icons then it would make it much simpler and less crowded. Is that possible?

I am using the official WooCommerce Composite Products plugin and the swatches look fine when I select the first product, but if I choose another product, they appear empty. I have already tried deactivating the plugin and the variations are displayed; this only happens with your plugin. Could you please check it?
