Hi Nicky75, I bought LiveSmart and I’m installing it on my server. When it was time to insert the Heygen API, I then went to the Heygen website to copy the API but now only the Enterprise subscription allows the use of the API (subscription starting from a minimum of $10K per year). Is there another way to use the API or is this the only solution? Please, let me know. Thank you

For custom avatar you need to go with paied HeyGen account. You can always check and contact them for more information what is necessary to create a custom avatar.
Limitations of the free avatar are: using 6 avatars and not all voices. You can have three sessions at once.

1. When you have the product, you will get full source code and you can change the look&feel according to your preferences. Can you tell me please in which browser and resolution the avatar is not centered?
2. I use free HeyGen token and it is not limited in time usage. Demo site has about 250-300 sessions per day.
3. Although it has other limitations: using 6 avatars and not all voices. You can have three sessions at once and also sending text to avatar is limited to 1000 symbols.
4. There is no trial option or pubic git, sorry. You can check though the API doc for using the advanced options here.

Let me check if I understand you correctly. You are asking to have a video background of a video streaming? Not sure it is possible at all. Avatar videos are coming with a green background that is replaced by a static image. Videos cannot be added as a replacement of the image. I can suggest you to convert your mp4 to a gif. You can use this converter. I used a free stock video, converted it and here is the result.

Actually asking for the name is just to make sure user has an interaction with the browser screen so the video of the avatar has the autoplay option started. There is no option to skip this for now, but can be changed just to be a button saying “Start AI Session” or something like.

2) Can you specify what limit I have to use with a free heygen account? How many questions can I ask a day? Or how many conversations can I have simultaneously?
3) I have a paid heygen “creator” account of $24. my question is? Do I have more time to use the API? What is the difference from the free to use stream avatar?
4) Can you create a function to inform administrators of the remaining limit they have left in heygen? How do I know what I have consumed in Heygen?

1. Here is how to train an avatar:
- you can add some text from the Dashboard with description of the avatar attitude and behaviour or simply with information of your live data (e-commerce site, product availability, news, events, whatever you can think of)
- more advanced approach that requires some programming knowledge is to add your own functions and in Advanced options of the dashboard to fill in description and params. There are four type of examples I have added in the product. This example is trained to give information about current weather condition at a location. If you ask the avatar “What is the weather like in San Francisco”, she will answer you with current live data for SF. Advanced options in the dashboard is like this
There is a getNews function which is not yet released, but I will be today or tomorrow or will send it to you. It is connecting to https://newsapi.ai and giving 3 latest topics based on your question – “give me latest news about tesla” for example. Check the avatar
You need to find some third party API that is providing info for Spain, something like newsapi.ai or newsapi.org but for Spain.
2. and 3. Not sure actually what is the difference and limites comparing free to paid subscriptions for streaming avatars. For example, free limits are: you have 1000 symbols to send to video, 6 free avatars, 3 avatar sessions at once. You can email HeyGen to ask them what is included in Creator subscriptions about streaming avatars.
4. There is something named webhooks, where you register some events to HeyGen, not sure if they can be assigned to this.

Yes, you can train the avatars to be able to interact and have a conversation on any topic. I have created a room with avatar to respond to news inquiries. Click on the link and ask something like “Latest news about tesla” for example. The application possibilities of AI avatars are limitless and can be trained to simulate complex conversations with live data.

- Yes, it can be trained. Open the demo page and ask Monica “give me contact information” and she will give you LiveSmart email address.

So when gpt 4 setup..so we can use all sessions in free.and users can get it free sessions.like using gpt 4 with just an avtar presence . ..and speaking mike don’t open in all phones.any solution for it .and we have to buy regular license ..we have to give u more for developemnt in our website ..??
There are limitations in using free heygen API – using 6 avatars and not all voices. You can use only three session at once and also sending text to avatar is limited to some number of symbols, I think 2000.
Here you can check that most of desktop and mobile browsers support speech recognition.

1. The panel is only one and what is shown on it depends on the privileges. You have 1. admin, who can see all type of logs and settings and can add other organizers. 2. organizer admin, who can create rooms only for his tenant and see only tenant logs. 3. regular organizer, who can just open rooms and eventually generate new ones.
2. You can train the avatar using two approaches:

Function – getCurrentWeather – this is a predefined sample function that is calling a third party site with location and unit for a current weather condition.
Description – Get the current weather in a given location – with this you are giving instructions to the avatar to listen for questions about weather and location
Parameters – location,unit – To specify location from the voice and optional unit – Celsius or Fahrenheit.
It is acting like this – you ask the avatar “what is the weather like in San Francisco”, avatar based on the instructions in the description understands and calls the function, the third party is returning the necessary info and avatar speaks back.

Which meeting did you check? Because demos are just this – demos and they answer basic questions about weather, stock prices, currency conversion or hotels.
Yes, you can train the model in two ways:
- add model of behavior, attitiude or some text with information, something like “You are a streaming avatar from LiveSmart, leading company that specialize in videos commnucations. Audience will try to have a conversation with you, please try answer the questions or respond their comments naturally, and concisely. – please try your best to response with short answers, and only answer the last question.”
- more advanced approach – add specific description for the avatar and based on it, the system can prepare exact answers and returns it to the visitor. For example you have e-commerce site and you want your visitor to know availability of products. And they ask the avatar something like “is product 123 available”. The bot transcribes the message to your store database and gets info from it and speaks back to the visitor. Please read this article for more information. Have in mind that possibilities are countless.

1. Actually if there is no HeyGen API provided, user will use only ChatGPT with all the other functionalities, even can do speech recognition and there will be no avatar.
2. There are no limits. Agents can be grouped in so called tenants with tenant admin. For example demo/demo is the admin of demo tenant.
3. Yes, there is Chat history. The admin can see all chats, tenant admin can see only chats in his tenant. Demo user as is admin, can see all chats and session logs with demo tenant.

As I am using the Free plan from HeyGen and token, most probably this is due to the reason you used a paid avatar. On the top of the page is stated which avatars are free – Kristin in Black Suit, Angela in Black Dress, Kayla in Casual Suit, Anna in Brown T-shirt, Briana in Brown suit, Justin in White Shirt, Leah in Black Suit, Wade in Black Jacket, Tyler in Casual Suit, Tyler in Shirt, Tyler in Suit and the default one.

You can use this product as is and “train” the avatar to answer any kind of questions or have specific attitude and knowledge. For example this avatar understands questions related to weather conditions at any locations. You can ask the avatar “what is the weather like in San Francisco”, beside any general questions. If you have a domain example.com, you can install it in any subfolder without a problem, but your hosting must meet the requirements. And in your main domain you can add the generated rooms, so your visitors can go there and interact with the avatar.
Possible scenario: You have an ecommerce site and you want the avatar to answer questions about your store and product prices. You train the avatar to use your store and provide information to it, something like “You are an avatar of SaleCommerce…. , etc”. Then you generate the room from the dashboard and put a button on your main page. When the visitor clicks on the button, it opens the video AI room and visitor can ask questions like “where is this store physically located”, or “give me price and availability of product 123”.

You will receive all files regardless of the license. But payment gateway is not yet included in this product. If you want to integrate a payment processing, for now you need to find some third party software for it. Payment gateways are pending feature.
Please have in mind that if you ask your customer to pay you to use LiveSmart AI Video, you will need the Extended license.
