Hello, in our opinion, being able to log in from multiple devices is a good thing. Blocking a user from logging in from both a mobile device and a computer at the same time can be frustrating. Even we log in from both devices in this way on other sites we use. This does not cause a security issue either.

Sorry – I was meaning on rss feed on a url that can be used by others to import posts from my site, like this https://hoofpick.foundation/feed I have managed to do it myself (it was quite straight forward, about 30 minutes). It would be a good idea for you to include in future.
My apologies, ignore the previous comment (wrong script!). I did notice that right click, view page source showed an xml feed, however, that doesn’t work for validating the xml in php and the url cannot be used. I have since edited the rss function in the Homecontroller from ‘echo view(‘rss’, $data);’ to ‘return $this->response->setXML(view(‘rss’, $data));’ and that changes the url view to properly formatted xml – you can see here https://hoofpick.life/latestposts.xml (I have also changed the url extension to .xml to help with validation).

So you don’t need to do anything to convert this to a XML file because it is already a XML file.
If your other website has an RSS aggregator system, you can import these posts with this URL. There is no need to add ”.xml” or something to this URL

The feed was not valid xml feed (you can test your own in any online feed validator). I have changed mine now as I indicated and it is working. Your feed may work in many rss feed aggregators because they use functions like Simplepie’s ‘force-feed’ which overrides php rejection/unable to parse, but your feed is not xml. I needed an xml feed.

We cannot know what is the problem with your other application, but every RSS aggregator must accept a standart RSS structure. If you need something different, please contact a developer and change the structure as you want.
Please, it is silly of you to argue with a customer. The link you have sent is an RSS validator – that is not an XML validator (I have already explained to you that RSS feed readers will ‘force-feed’ validation, but strict php will not). I required a valid XML feed – your script does not produce one as it is, it requires a small modification, which I have given you. I don’t need anything from you – and I certainly don’t need you to argue that your script is producing a valid xml feed when it clearly is not.

This header defines the content type of that page. If you set the content type of a page like this, that page will be an XML file and all RSS readers will see that page as an XML file, not a normal web page.
If you want to export that page as a complete XML file, you can make this with your method. We don’t understand why you argue us for this. You are free to edit the codes as you want.
I am trying to help you. Clearly you do not know the difference between an RSS feed and an XML feed. If you right click and inspect your feeds you will see that the browser has commented out the header code generated by ‘header(“Content-Type: application/rss+xml; charset=utf-8”);’ and because of this the page renders as html – which is NOT an XML feed. This is because in your function you are using ‘echo’ to insert the data, rather than the correct way which is to call a method. So, to fix your code instead of ‘echo view(‘rss’, $data);’ you should have ‘return $this->response->setXML(view(‘rss’, $data));’ I would prefer if you fixed your code so that when I apply an update to the scipt it is one less thing I have to think about. I am very happy with the script – and would like it to stay that way!
We know the difference between RSS and XML. What we’re talking about also works by adding header code like this. But if you want to return it as a complete XML file, you can do it this way.

I cannot delete and turn off RSS Feeds. RSS feeds filled the home page. In the settings, I disabled them, but they still show. RSS Feeds are not deleted and do not respond to command to delete RSS Feeds.
Hello, deleting or disabling RSS feeds will not affect the posts that you added because you may want to delete the RSS feeds and keep the posts on your site. So deleting posts by deleting the RSS feeds will not be a good idea. To delete the posts, you need to delete them from the Posts page in the Admin panel.

Hello, no, .htaccess codes will not change according to cPanel or Plesk panel. Probably your server provider has blocked the use of some codes or some codes in .htaccess are not working on your server. So in any case, they have to solve this problem themselves.

Hi, yes, this is possible, but they will have two different databases. You can create a folder named “blog” inside your current application. And then you can install our script to this folder and access your blog with the “domain.com/blog” URL. Or you can install it to a subdomain. Also, you can disable the registration system to not force your users to create a second account for the blog. Thanks.
