This is a brilliant plugin, you mentioned in one of your previous replies that you can customise the plugin to allow for results to appear where i alink can be given to that page. For example, when i search for my username, i would like a link to send to my friends my page on the site i have the plugin installed on. www,example.com/nik123 or something like that, is this possible?

Hi, Awesome plugin! Love the features…i’m having an issue resizing the image upon load. Currently they’re spanning 100% of the window width, i want to resize to 500px by 500px… I’m trying to do it through css but the img style tag is not working out for me.
Any thoughts?

Can Photos be search also on Geo location? and when do a search with TAG , display user name?

1. Yes, the instagram api does allow you to search by geolocation. However, at this time, this plugin only allows searching by tag and by username. If this is something you would like added, just purchase the plugin and send me an email and I will do the rest.
2. Yes, when you do a tag search username along with a bunch of other information about the user is pulled in.

Great question but unfortunately, the Instagram API only allows you to search for a user by User ID or Username.

It is not doing it on my iphone or ipad i can search but when i click on a user it wont do anything. Also is there a way to add search by name on account for example joe smith?

I don’t see anything in the documentation that allows the plugin to pull photos of a specific hash tag. My client would like to run a competition where people attach a specific hash tag that would then display their photo on their site. Is this possible? Or do we require modification?

This plugin does pull in photos by hashtag if you use the search bar. However, it sounds like you would like you want to pull in a hashtag “On Load”. That would be a feature request if that’s the case. Send me an email.

Is it possible to add “sort by date”?

By default, the Instagram API automatically sorts by date, descending from newest to oldest. I hope this helps.

is there any way to link to a particular search result? like if i search on something and i get a set of results, I wish i can send someone a link to that set of results.

Good question. No because by default, the Instagram API pulls in photos by timestamp. In order to do a link, I would need to make you a modified version. Send me an email if you would like to discuss further.
