I believe we’ve answered your questions, answering here now so it could help others.
It seems you are using a VPS server where are no supports for the default server email outgoing service. You can use SMTP to send the E-Mail. Set SMTP credential to .env file and change the MAIL_MAILER=smtpor if you use any shared hosting where PHP mail() is working, you can set the MAIL_MAILER=mail
