I have installed the group booking and I need to setup a 4 day event with a specific date that can be booked by maximum 20 people – Can I use the group booking for that?

Can you help me how to setup an event say “4 days meditation” start 1st of may at 3pm ending 4th of may at 11am

These add-ons when integrated together should make this requirement feasible.

- Bookly Special Days
The Bookly Special Days Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212817929-Special-Days-Add-on allows you to set a custom schedule, including breaks that are different from default working hours/days for individual staff members. And this shift on special days from the default weekly schedule will apply to all services the staff member provides.

- Bookly Service Schedule
The Bookly Service Schedule Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/213850385-Services-Available-at-Limited-Hours-Service-Schedule-Add-on- allows you to limit the hours within staff’s daily working hours when each service is available wherein it is service-specific and interacts with staff’s working hours in such a way that service availability hours and staff working hours overlap, thus creating an interval within each staff member’s day when the service can be provided so it is set up as a one-time interval for each day of the week, with breaks during the day.

So the services will only be offered based on what you specify on the services level.

If both add-ons are installed, you can override standard working hours for specific dates on the calendar by tweaking the days and hours when individual services are available for booking (vs standard Special Days functionality, which applies them to the entire staff member’s schedule and all of their services).

You can even make the service completely unavailable for booking on particular days: select OFF in the time selection drop-down. Or make the service completely OFF every day except for Special Days.

I’ve tried installing the Google calendar add on with bookly, but get the error in the employee section while trying to select the calendar from the pull down menu.

Hi,

question: is it possible to edit an appointment in Google Calendar, like removing some of the attendees in the booking and then to sync this to the website, so that the spots become available again?

Hi,

I bought the group booking add-on. Is it possible if 5 people book an appoinment, the time slot will change for 5 people. Now 1 appoinment will take 5 minutes, but if 5 people book it wont change to 25 minutes.

Do you mean only one customer could book one time slot? If that’s the case then you could use the Bookly Pro for this need, this is how plugin works by default.

I have purchased Bookly Pro and Bookly Group Booking. I need to know if I can get a custom solution developed, or if there are existing add-ons that might resolve these three things. This is for a client who has two hot springs who have different capacities.

- When someone clicks on book, have the booking screen go straight to the calendar screen instead of the ”available on or before” screen. 

- Make it more obvious which days and times are available.

- Customization of the ‘Pay In Person’ label. Currently, people are taking advantage of that option and booking, but not showing up We NEED that Pay in Person option, however, so that Hotel Guests, can book their own complimentary access to the Hot Springs once a day.

Any help is appreciated! Please!

Currently, we are overloaded with development tasks and are not able to take any customization tasks. Although you can modify the source code of the plugin or add-on in different ways, at this time, as much as we’d love to help with these types of requests, this is outside the stipulations of CodeCanyon (Envato Market).

It doesn’t include modifying or extending the item beyond the original features, style, and functionality described on the item page. And providing webhooks and their description is currently not supported. Bookly is not intended to be extended by third-party plugins at this time.

For customization services that will help you tailor the item to your specific requirements, we recommend contacting the developers who privately offer paid customization services.

Please take into account that if you customize the plugin, you will still have access to updates but won’t be able to make an update without losing the customization. We also do not provide support for customized versions of the plugin.

You should be able to pre-define or hide fields in the booking form. Please check this article: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212800185-Publish-Booking-Form for more details and instructions in publishing and hiding fields in the booking form.

And kindly note that when “Categories of services, Services, and Employee” are hidden, it requires a default value chosen because each appointment must have each of those properties.

Regarding the “complimentary access to the Hot Springs once a day”, if this is only available to hotel guests who have already booked/paid, please check if the Bookly Customer Groups Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000201873-Customer-Groups-Add-on will work for this requirement.

This will allow you to create and manage Customer Groups for different administration purposes such as arrange your customer list by type for advanced sorting based on their loyalty, the frequency of appointments, provided information, interests, offering promotions to certain clients, or setting particular limitations: set the service visibility based on a customer group.

Hello! My services are office reservations. Is it possible that once an office is booked, it may not be available to any other staff or customer? In the demo, if I make a booking with an personal staff, and later with a different staff, the service (in this case, an office) continues to be available for the same date. I am waiting for your answer!

If you don’t want multiple customer to book the same service for the same staff member, then there’s no need to set up a group booking and the capacity for this service should be set for one person.

Hi, Combining group and non-group services in one bookly form: We have a bookly form set up and are using the group booking add-on.

The form consists of services that let you reserve for one day, flat rate, as well as group bookings that charge per person. (All in the same form)

Is it possible to display the form so that the number of attendees dropdown selection only shows up when selecting the group/per person service, but not if you select the per day/flat rate service?

Right now, the number of attendees dropdown shows up on ALL services, including flat rate, which we don’t need. Thanks

how to I make sure that when 2 people book, the fee (I have the cart add on) gets doubled. RIght now, a person can go through the purchase process, select 2 in the drop down yet only get charged for the single person. If 2 people are coming we need the fee to double. Is this possible?

Hello, I have Bookly installed (Pro version) and would need a change from the word “employee” to a different expression such as “service provider”. The term “Employee” is displayed during the booking process on the frontend to specify the person providing certain services. However, the person providing services is not necessarily an employee. Who could help me with this?

Hi!

I would like to make each block have capacity for 10 people.

But when scheduling an appointment, each user can reserve a maximum of 2 people.

How do I achieve this?

For example, if I offer dance classes for a maximum of 10 people, but each user can attend with a partner or alone, it is not the idea that each user can reserve up to 10 places …

I’m afraid such option is not supported. When you set up the capacity for the service, the drop-down option will display the number of people based on Maximum number in Service section. So if the maximum number if 10, the drop-down field will display 10.

1. If a person makes a reservation for 3 clients, can I know the name, telephone number and email of the 3 people?

2. If the above is not possible, is this extension compatible with Bookly Custom Fields (Add-on)?

3. Can I establish that each block will have a capacity of 4 people, and that 2 independent reservations be made, each with 2 people?

You can use Notes field for collecting additional information about the participants. Even if you use Bookly Custom fields add-on, the system won’t create additional fields automatically based on the number of people your client chooses while booking an appointment. Not quite sure that understood you correctly. When you set up the capacity, it will be implemented for each time slot. If you mean that there should be general capacity for the service, I’m afraid such option is not supported.

No matter what capacity I enter after one booking is made, it doesn’t not allow any further bookings e.g. Capacity set to 10 people, booking for one person made, no further bookings allowed.
