Any plans to add stock management by weight? For example, if my variations are 100g, 250g, and 500g of product, can each order be deducted from the total stock of 10kg?
on this version weight added but not with variation so if you need we can customize for you with some tweaking
Are you saying that weight of simple products is deducted from a total in stock? If that’s the case how are simple products grouped to be deducted from the total?
no am not saying that. you give it wrong, It only add the stock and weight or update the stock only it cannot deduct the stock. Its a stock manager not order manager
Is the stock updated with every order?
yes once the order is completed the stock is automatically updated
Do you think you can add functionality of stock being tracked by weight at the parent product and weights of each variation sold be deducted once an order is completed?
the current version only have support with both simple and variable but not with variable variations so yes we can add in our next release soon. That was a good idea
Excellent. Will keep an eye out for it. Do you have a scheduled date for next release? The key here is that the stock needs to managed by weight not by number of products. I can’t find this functionality anywhere. I bet if you add it, lots of people will be interested/excited.
Great plugin. We installed this and tried to use it, but we do not see any of our product variations listed. How can we see and edit the variables?
