Is this not compatible with wordpress? It showed up under my search for “wordpress” and I purchased it for this reason.

Great! Can I get a credit towards purchase of that one? ..

Hello, I’m sorry but we as authors can’t take such measures. Please contact envato support directly.

Hi, I have purchased your plugin and I am trying to adjust it to fit my site. I’m wondering if the plugin supports the following?

Keep the ‘Next’ button active when the last step is reached, change its color to green and its text to ‘submit’. I also need to submit form data when it is clicked. Regards

Hi,
I’ve just replied to your email.

Hi there, nice script.

On my website, your script will be part of a bigger site … navigation like this

- Home - About Us - Services - Get a Quote (your script – dynamic step process form) - Contact

When a user completes the quote ‘Get a Quote’ or decides to stop and go to another page like ‘Home’ and then decides to return back to ‘Get a Quote’. I want your script ‘dynamic step process panels’ to start from scratch. Forcing step by step. Somehow destroy the cookie (if used). Where as now, if the user returns to ‘Get a Quote’, the user can select any step tab. Where as before, as you entered the website, you would be forced step by step until you reached the last step and then select any tab.

So what I’m after each time you enter the ‘Get a Quote’ page … it resets everything.

Any ideas?

Hi,
Should work in described way. I’ve just checked on my live preview page. I’ve check first example (step by step) from http://dynamicstepprocesspanelswp.quanticalabs.com/?page_id=52. I’ve went to the 3rd step, then click in menu “Home” position, then get back to mentioned page and the process panel was reseted. Could you check and tell me if this works the same for you?

Sweet. It now unhighlights as you go back. 5 stars!

Hi Just wandering how the request to change js code to un-highlight the boxes as you go back is coming along.

Thanks

Hi,
The update will be available in few hours :) Please send me an email via contact form in my profile, then I’ll send you it in response.

Thanks, I removed padding but it wasn’t enough.
I added “margin-top: -200px;” and now it fits perfectly.
Thanks again for your quick response, your customer service is really good.

I’m glad to hear that, thank you!

How can I adjust the distance between the steps panel and the nextPrevButtons?
I’d like to reduce the distance to get the nextPrevButtons closer to my content. Thanks.

Hi,
Please open style.css file, find styles for class .nextPrevButtons and remove from it padding-top: 10px; property.

I just saw the comment from 5 months ago. Is there a solution to this yet. Can you please email me the .js code snippet to un-highlight the boxes as you go back.

Hi,
There is no solution yet. But I’ll prepare it in next 2 weeks. It’s not so simple as it seems, so that’s why it’s taking so much time.

I’ve just sent you an email with update.

I’m sure this has been asked at some point but I can’t find an appropriate answer:

I.E.- The basic 3 step form. Once you go to the 3rd step and if you want to go back it un-highlights each step instead of keeping them all green?

This seems like an easy fix, i’m just not THAT well-versed in Javascript.

just purchased some motivation don’t forget about me :)

Hello,

Thx. Please check your mailbox.

You can largely delete my comments above:

I downloaded a fresh zip and then replaced the files one at a time. I also deleted and reinstalled all my js files one at a time to see if they interfered. Something must have changed because the steps started working properly.

It also appears that inside one of the js files you have specified the location of the images, so if you put them in a different place (ie don’t want yet another folder with images) the js can’t find them.

The css seems to need adjusting because it is affected by existing css (at least in my case) because I’m trying to add this to an existing design.

Can’t send you a link as I never put stuff online that isn’t already fixed, sorry.

Brian

I can help you to solve the conflict with your theme, but I need to see that. You can run some test page for me, so I’ll be able to make some debug work.

Well, I’ve just wasted several hours messing about trying to get this working and have given up.

I’m sure from the comments already here that it works if you know what you’re doing, but following the instructions in your help file just left me with a load of text links and nothing else. I tried cut and pasting your examples to see if they would work and they wouldn’t.

I’m already using jquery 1.4.4, as I’m trying to add it to an existing site.

All in all, it looks nice but unless you add instructions that someone who doesn’t know anything about js can follow, that’s all it does.

Disappointed.

Hi,
Please send me a link to the page, where you have put the panel. I’ll check what’s wrong. There could some js conflict from the fault of another script for example. I need to see the page, then I’ll tell you how to run the plugin.

Great product!!

I just want to know how i can revert the color of the breadcrumb if the user goes back one or tw steps.

For my project everything is great, just need to be able to revert to the oroginal color if my user goes back to a previous step.

Thanks in advance :)

Thank you!
I’m planning to add this feature with next release. Should be available in couple of weeks.

Hi,
The update is ready and will be available here in few hours for download.

This is great and have added it to my site easily!

However, when do you think you’ll be able to update it to cover the numerous requests above to deselect the tab when changing step?

For example, if a user clicks on step 2 and then goes back to step 1, the tab is still highlighted. It’s only a minor thing but this change would make it perfect!

Hi,
Thank you!
I’ll add this feature to planned updates list. Many users ask about that, so I’ll add it. But I can’t give you right now the exact update date.

Hi,
Update is ready and will be available soon for download. If you would like to have it earlier, please send me an email via contact form in my profile, I’ll send the update in response.

Hi, I have the following question:

How to change the color of the tab when this asset?

for example if I have completed the steps and wants to return to step 1 would be good to change color

thanks!

Hi,
It’s not possible at this time. I’ve this feature on my update list, so I’ll add it in the future.

Hello …

I love the plugin but I am having trouble getting the top panels (steps) to work in IE9 . Is it possible to email you a URL to look at?

Thanks

Mike

Hi,
Yes, of course. Please sen me URL via contact form in my profile.

Hi, another question. how should i able to change the step header to unselect. e.g. When i go to step2 and click the previous step button, it will bring me back to step1, then i dont want step2 header still highlight the color. (only highlighted when i in that particular step) In this case, what should i able to do?

Hi,
It’s not possible right now, but many people ask about that. I’ll consider an update. It can’t be done right now without custom js coding.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully you will update the code to get this done. =D

Hi, May i know how to disable click on the “Steps” button of header. Because i planning to use custom button “Save & Continue” to instead. Appreciate your prompt reply. Thanks

Hi,
Thank you for your patience. Plese use onOpen event. That code should disable default functionality:

onOpen: function(event, step, content, stepNumber)
{
    return false;
}

Was wondering if it’s possible to use this script to perform the following with PHP .

Panel 1 – upload a file Panel 2 – use PHP to read + verify contents of file Panel 3 – use PHP to process the file and input into mysql database

I’m able to write the PHP to perform the actions but wasn’t sure how the step processing works with being able to pass data from one panel to another and execute separate php functions for each step.

cheers Fudge

Hi,
You need to use ajax here. You can use onOpen event, then check the current step number – stepNumber predefined function parameter and then call appropiate php file using for example jQuery $.ajax function.

Just curious.. is there any way to just use this as CSS as I’m finding the pages I’m using this for include so much its difficult to troubleshoot. I’d like to still use the pretty step-by-step clickable header bar by itself and just add the code to each page and make the right step active depending on the page. Thoughts?

Yes, it’s possible. As I well understood you – you don’t wanna use this item with it’s javascript files, you need just steps graphics. Am I right? Please run the panel with javascript and check what is changing in css. Copy them to your css stylesheet and then run panel without js.
