Does this script require MySQL?

Simply, no. The script does not save any data locally. Video data (e.g., title, description, tags, etc) are submitted to YouTube directly, so you can retrieve these data back again with the video.

Can I save a copy of uploaded videos in my server?

Yes you can. By default, videos are saved in a temp directory before uploading to YouTube. To save a permanent copy of each uploaded video, comment or remove the following line in “upload_to_youtube/processing.php

 unlink ($videoPath) ; 

All uploaded videos will be saved in “uploads” directory.
