Hello! Presale question. I need the YouTube stream based on keywords (search words more then 10). It has to be 4 columns per row thumbnails only. The Header with main player has to be removed or hidden. Load more button. Can I do this with your plugin?

I’m building a community website and the content is driven by the users in the community so this plugin has my interest.
I have a some presale questions,
1. Does this allow users to make their own youtube setup like you do in the demo? or does the site admin have to set that up for every user?
2. Is there a backend demo we can see?
3. Is there a way to show a featured user video based on a voting system? Like who’s ever video gets liked the most can appear in a featured section?

What your users will see on your website, is actually only the video gallery itself. In our demo we feature both what is going to be on the backend and on the frontend. The settings part on the left is what is going to be in the backend. The site admin sets up each gallery by configuring the settings and adding the new video sources, and the users are only going to see the resulting gallery.
Right now the only way to add a most liked video to the featured section, would be to add the video’s URL as the gallery’s source, and you’ll have to do this manually.

is there a way to allow the users to create their own gallery w/o being an admin of the site? That would be really helpful to have. Like a frontend setup so once they sign in, they can create their page based on their user signed in credentials.

Hi,
Today, when I want to apply a filter (by dates, by views, by comments, by like etc …), the filter is done on the whole of source group.
I wanted to know if it was possible to apply a filter for only one source. - Filter by views for a youtube channel - Filter by comments for a playlist - etc.
But all this in the same view. Currently to get to this, I am forced to create multiple instances of shortcode and it would have been simpler to have everything in the same window.
PS : There is a bug with accent ’ when you want to use a unique description in a source. The recording does not work.

Unfortunately, our plugin doesn’t have the kind of sorting that you require. So there are two ways to do what you need. The first is to create multiple shortcodes, like you’re doing now, and the second way is to manually add the videos in the required order, and set the sorting to default. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience! Our development team will research the possibility of implementing the functionality you need in our future updates.

How is this Compatible w/ Buddypress as you have it listed?

Our plugin gives out a WordPress shortcode, so you can use it with Buddypress in the same way as any other WordPress shortcode. No other integration is required.

Would this integration display when and if the user posted a video and it notified in their buddypress profile/timeline/activity.

Unfortunately, this option is not provided by default, but it is not hard to implement with our plugin. To do it, you need to let users set their YouTube channels in your Buddypress, and display Yottie shortcode on users’ profile page template and pass the user channel to the shortcode. This will require basic knowledge of WordPress theme development. If you can do this, or have a developer who can help you, we can recommend you to use our plugin.

so can your plugin look for a buddypress user field that’s been filled out that = to their user youtube username that they filled out and then I can create a shortcode w/ a wildcard parameter that will read that entered input and render the shortcode

You can create a gallery on Yottie page, and configure its appearance in the way you need. After that you’ll get a shortcode like this: [yottie id=”1”] .
You can add parameters to this shortcode that will redefine the gallery’s settings.You will find the list of parameters in documentation. For example, you can pass the link to each user’s YouTube channel:
[yottie id=”1” channel=”https://www.youtube.com/user/RockstarGames”]

yeah, I think I get what you’re saying but that requires for me to manually enter their channel name, right? If so, it would be better if it could read from a field defined by he user that will indicate what their channel/user name is for YouTube. Does this make sense?

Does id=”1” mean that if the user is logged in? What does “1” represent in the id? Also, how do I go about in adding a shortcode into a BP Profile tab?

id=1 means your gallery’s unique identifier. The first gallery will have id=1, the second one – id=2, etc.
As for adding the shortcode to a BP profile tab, this question is beyond the scope of support that we provide. We suggest that you contact your site’s or your theme’s developer.

hello, i have a suggestion for next update, i love your plugin so much, ist really cool, but i wish, that i can show only the last 3 movies from my channel for example… so it shows all.. and teh other suggestion, i have to set row and coloums, that shpuk,d be set automatically…

Thank you for your interest in Yottie, If we understand you correctly, by subscribers you mean the number of subscribers displayed in the Yottie header. So the plugin gets this number from the channel you’ve set in Channel option in Yottie settings. YouTube sources represented in a group in way influence this.

I have two questions:
- The first is about the SEO of the plugin. Is the plugin SEO friendly? If it’s not, can you tell me more about the plans to fix this? - Second question is about play counts in YouTube. Does a video play in the plugin count as a play in YouTube? Or does the play only count in YouTube when the autoplay mode in the pop-up is disabled?

Thank you for your interest in Yottie! As concerning the SEO questions, we don’t plan to implement this, as the content in our plugin is rendered via JavaScript, so we can’t be sure that a search engine will see it.
And the videos that you watch in our plugin are counted on YouTube.

I bought this plugin with my personal account ElEjercitodelaLuz i want to set it in fullscreen in the home screen of a personal website, but no one can’t tell me how to do this.
I asked the support to tell me with what free theme i can do this. It’s easy question. But i don’t have any answer to solve this little issue.

My theme developer? who is this person? i just use the yottie plugin in fullscreen mode, and i don’t have an accurate template, i installed and changed the theme many time with the idea to have the yottie plugin in fullscreen. If i can’t make this i will not use yottie.

As we’ve advised you earlier, you need to create an empty page template, without the header, footer or any content container, and install Yottie to that page. Unfortunately, we don’t develop website themes, so we can’t help you with setting up a template like this.

My page don’t have a footer or header configured. I’m surprised you can’t tell me a wordpress theme where this plugin works in fullscreen. That’s very strange for me. You sell a product but you don’t know where this works well. =(

We provided you with all the information on the product that will allow you to implement this. Regretfully, this is as much as we can do, because we don’t develop website themes. Also, we don’t provide theme usage or installation consultations. You should contact whoever had developed the theme you’re using and ask for advice. Or find a free-lance developer to help you.
