Prebuy question: Hello. How many kb is this jquery plugin?
The Yottie plugin is 237 kb.
Thank you for your interest in our product, we hope that we will soon see you among our customers!
Very nicely put together plugin just a few questions before i look into purchasing.
I’m assuming the source of the videos is passed in as simple string array list of youtube watch urls ? Is there a recommended limit to the total number of videos we should be adding ? For my use case I already have a list of youtube video ids which I would like to use (so will not be using a youtube channel )
Thank you for your interest in Yottie!
Yes, you are right, you’ll have to set a string array of urls. We don’t have a limit as such, however, the more videos you get, the longer it might take for the plugin to load. For your case, you can generate the urls using your video ids, and pass them on into our plugin.
maybe a dumb question but for this to work I would have to be developing online on a server right? also, is there a way to configure to have one big player above the thumbnail list of video so instead of going into the popup or inline with will update the player embed to play the selected video? let me know if that makes sense… Thanks
Thank you for using Yottie!
You don’t have to do any developing to get it to work. All you need to do is install and activate it, and then create and set the parameters of your video galleries. As for your suggestion, unfortunately, we don’t offer the option of this kind of player. I can see how useful this feature can be, however, we don’t have it yet. We’ll research the possibility of adding it in our future updates.
You have multi source for videos, but is their a option to add multi channel??
Yes, there is such an option. You can add multiple channels by creating source groups on Source tab.
Yottie has stopped working.
Is there a problem with the youtube api?
Please I need this to work, I am a plugin buyer.
I did not make any modification or update, this let it work at any moment.
Thank you for using Yottie! Please, email us at email@example.com, and provide us with the link to the page Yottie is installed to, and with the access to your website. We’ll be happy to help!
I have already fixed the error, your API KEY does not work for any user of the plugin.
Is there a reward for me for reporting the bug?
Unfortunately, our keys have exceeded the YouTube quota. You need to get your own key and set it in the data-yt-key attribute. Here’s a short tutorial on how to get your key – https://elfsight.com/blog/2016/12/how-to-get-youtube-api-key-tutorial/ . We are very sorry about this inconvenience!
not work http://vinu.tv/

Your demo at https://elfsight.com/youtube-channel-plugin-yottie/jquery/#demo
Is it a different script?
Thank you for using Yottie! The error you mention is caused by the behavior of the YouTube Subscribe button, unfortunately, we can’t do anything about it. However, it doesn’t in any way influence the widget’s workflow, or other scripts, so you can just disregard it.
what wrong with your script.
its run its self and stop again see http://vinu.tv/
I’m very sorry to know that you’re having issues with Yottie again. However, I see from your code that you’re using version 2.3.1 and you don’t have the API key added to your plugin. You need to update to version 2.3.2 and add the YouTube API key. Here’s a tutorial for you on how to do it – https://elfsight.com/blog/2016/12/how-to-get-youtube-api-key-tutorial/ . If any problems occur during the update, please, open a ticket at our Support Center at https://elfsight.ticksy.com and we will update the plugin for you again. I distinctly remember that we’ve already updated Yottie to 2.3.2 for you, actually. This issue that you’re having is fixed in the latest version.
It doesn’t work because of wrong youtube api key. Even if you generate a new key and put it as data-yt-key parameter or even replace old key mentions in all js files, nothing changes. I have no idea how someone can benefit from the plugin. Useless purchase.
We’re very sorry that you’ve run into this issue.
We believe that there is some local issue on your website. Please send us a link to the page with Yottie via firstname.lastname@example.org or open a ticket in our Support Center at https://elfsight.ticksy.com/ and we’ll do our best to help you.
Looking forward to your reply.
We see your ticket. Just sent you a message there.
The ticket has been solved. The plugin didn’t work locally, it started to work only after being uploaded to the server (apache in my case).
I am having problem with the subscribe button feature.
