A few questions …I think they’re pretty simple:
1. I assume that it can be run in an iframe without issue? 2. When someone selects an item, can I easily access the key variables for other uses, e.g., the youtube video id and url? 3. Do we get full access to the source code or just API access?

1. Yes it can be run in a iframe. 2. Yes. In this script once a user clicks on a url, it gets video ID and to the popup. It uses ajax command to send. If you can get video ID, that means you know the URL. 3. It’s full open source script. You need to have Youtube/Google API credential only. You can customize this script very easily, it’s simple PHP with boostrap in between.

Cool. Are the thumbnails customizable? Could I add an “add this” button to the thumbnails which I could use to capture the youtube ID of the video and send to my php script that would add it to a playlist database?

Yes. If you know little bit of bootstrap or CSS you can do that. You can use Ajax to do that. The Video ID can be taken to a memory variable.

Letting other people upload random videos to your channel is not recommended. That’s why OAuth2 only lets them to upload to their own channel. See this doc. https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3/docs/videos/insert#usage

Yes. It’s just a API, You need to have a API Key from Google. (Documentation has related instructions). So you can do that. It’s legal.

It’s like this. If you can view the video at Youtube.com, you can see it here too. API is to access Youtube Videos using a script. Yes you can easily apply it to your site. It’s simple PHP with Bootstrap based front end.
ok, final question, just to make sure, even I could search videos in youtube.com, and when I usee API to access videos in your script, the result is copyright free videos ? Which means when I post these videos to other social medias, no legal issue at all right ? Thanks

If i type the keyword recipes,cannot dispaly more than 50 results,also,it should have a next buttom for the the next page of searchs.
My friend that you for your comment. But Youtube API only gives us maximum 50 Results. It’s google limitation. What they say is ” Acceptable values are 0 to 50, inclusive. The default value is 5.” in their API documentation.

I did not create a pagination option for this because of the maximum is 50. I think that for 50 results pagination is useless. Why do you think we need a pagination actually?
