I mostly want to edit images from the Media Library and wonder how I can get the edit image saved to the Media library? I have tried to Export Image and Replace Image – nothing happens. If i use Export As I get an error: Image Data is Missing – what data?
The only thing I can do is download the image…
I have deactivated all plugins execpt WP Rembrant, change theme to Twenty tTwenty-One but it won’t help.
Hi! Thanks for your question. The plugin converts image to base64 encoded image data for saving to the server. You may have a wrong server configuration, which can cause this problem. Please make sure that the ‘allow_url_fopen’ option is checked on. (Usually this throws an error message: “Image Data is Missing” if this is turned off.) You can check it easily from cpanel: go to software -> php versions and settings.
Thanks a lot, that solved the problem.
Hi, any news to support and edit psd files like photopea is?
Hi! Still not added PSD support. I will try to make it for the next updates!
Great to hear that. Do you plan to make psd file editable so we can edit or you plan to add just for view?
My plan is to make it editable. Import PSD, edit, and then export PSD, or save as image.
That is awesome. You have no idea how much design community needs it
Thanks for your replying, so I tried loco translate plugin, but could not converse words. I don’t know the reason, tell me another thing how to resolve this problem.
Regards Iichiro Hotta
Hi! Sorry for the late response, but I looked into the problem. I guess, there is a bug in the translation template file (in the .pot file). Please try to regenerate this file. You can do it with Loco Translate plugin. Go to Plugins -> WPRembrant -> Translate -> Edit template, and click the Sync button. Then try to translate the texts again. If this can’t solve the problem, please contact me via email through my profile page, and I will help you.
Hi, Thank you for your excellent plugin ‘WPRembrant’. I’d like to ask you one thing how to translate from English to other languages. For example, words of header menus, ‘File’, ‘Edit’, ‘View’, ‘Help’, etc.
Hi! Thanks for your purchase!
The easiest way to translate is to use a translator plugin. I use Loco Translate for this, for example. This is a free plugin from WordPress repository. After you activated this plugin go to plugins, choose WPRembrant from the list, click translate, and then add new language.
Nice product. The ui needs improvement so it’s easy to use and no widget should be hidden.
Hi! Thanks for your feedback! The widgets are only hidden on small screen sizes to be responsive. But I will improve it!
I made a purchase but I was hoping to be able to use this on the front end to let users create pages for books but it is too complex and difficult to use. I need users to be able to create a duplicate of a Product (to be used as a the page for the book), edit product details especially the featured image by cropping it, and then saving it with them being the new author. If they could drag and drop images on the page and move them around like photoshop that would be great. please issue a refund unless you have updates
Hi! Basically, this editor is only available from admin dashboard, but I am working on an addon for this plugin that helps you put the editor on frontend. I am going to upload it in 2-3 weeks. Please be patient, or send me a refund request!
Do you have any progress on this? I am going to wait and be patient

I tried the demo and it does not work.
hi,
i currently have your plugin installed on my website but I get an error when i try to export a project. I get there’ been a critical error right when i try to export as either png or jpg. My best guess is that it’s a standard bug that can easily be patched with an update. I don’t believe there’s any conflict with another plugin as i intentionally limit the number of plugins i install everytime.
Hi! First of all thank you for your purchase, and feedback! I will try to fix this bug, but unfortunately I haven’t experienced any bug on my own hosting like this, so I don’t know what could be causing this problem. Please make sure you have permission to upload files, and check the max upload file size. (By the way, can you import from Pixabay? Is that working?) Or try to export a smaller size of image. Maybe, if you could check the error log file, it could help us to find the bug.
Pleasure’s mine! I increased the max upload size a few times, did a server reboot to be sure but the error persists. I tried saving from Pixabay as well but that failed too. Are you talking about standard wordpress log?
I just checked the uploads directory of my site. Realized the images were actually saved from both the editor and Pixabay but do not display in the media library.
so it appears the errors are a false negative cause they are saved successfully with the only issue being that it does not display in the media library. So basically, turn off false critical error notification and get the saved images to display in the media library. I dont know if my server has anything to do with it but i’m running on litespeed with a semi custom wordpress configuration
I should add that while pixabay saves, the spinning icon doesn’t go away until i reload the page.
Thanks for detailed infos! I think one of your custom WordPress config may causes this issue, if the files saved successfully, but don’t appear in the media library. The problem may be that the attachment meta data is saved incorrectly to the database, eg: the link to the file. Perhaps, have you changed the default upload file directory in wp core settings -> media? (wp-content/uploads) The second thing that I suppose: the function (which handles uploads in my plugin) can’t recognize a build in function from your WordPress installation. Usually this causes the code stops running (making a half result) and the spinner can’t hide. So yes, I am talking about the WordPress debug log. If that is the case, then the exact issue may be described in this file, that can help us. Other question: are the exported files listed in the media library, but with empty image, or do not appear at all?
Yes, my uploads directory has been changed but the images from the editor are saved successfully but don’t show up in the media library. My configuration is overall customized so I might be digging for a while. I probably need a custom solution. Perhaps i can reach out via email?
Hi, I’ve figured out a workaround that works perfectly for me. Your plugin works perfectly with a regular WordPress configuration but I certainly did need a workaround for my customization. for every potential buyer, this is great plugin and GLWS! BTW, i would still love to contact you if your email is available on something entirely different. Kind regards.
Hi! I’m glad you like it, thanks! Send me an email using the form at my profile please!
