I’m using your plugin WPCC on the web site www.fratelliferrario.eu
The plug-in is buggy: created forms won’t be saved at all. After I insert the new form name, let’s say “Quote”, I get the confirmation message “Done : Form Preventivo created successfully. Edit settings” but after reloading the page, the list is always empty, showing “No forms present. Create the first form to continue.”.
please read documentation carefully please
sorry networksolution….please download its latest version that available here
Thank you, form creation is working now. I will get back to you if I found other problems.
I have the same problem with form settings, they won’t get saved.
just cheeked your last comment that you have before three days and now you are saying not working what is its mean ?
Three days I said the “form creation” was working after your fix. Now I’ve I found another, different functionality, the “Edit settings”, suffering from the same issue (my edits won’t get saved at all). I just continued the same forum thread because the two problems seem related.
Here is a screencast showing the issue: http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDVfQOhAsG
Hi sir, your support is expired please purchase support of the plugin for any more issues. We are working on the last issue and will update you in 2 days as it was notified before the support expired..
I see the last update of the plug-in is 22 December 2015, so update was not published. I’ll wait for a new update fixing this issue before buying support again.
I discovered the issue (and it was your fault. Your wpcc-edit.php does not use $wpdb->prefix and it is always trying to update a table wp_wpcc_forms.
This means your plugin won’t work for all users changed the default database table name prefix during Wordpress installation.
I fixed your code changing lines 3 and 12. For those want to get this plugin working, replace:
line 3 from:
mysqli_query($con, "UPDATE `wp_wpcc_forms` SET `name` = '".wpcc_clean($_POST['name'])."',
mysqli_query($con, "UPDATE `".$wpdb->prefix."wpcc_forms` SET `name` = '".wpcc_clean($_POST['name'])."',
line 11 from:
$xdata = mysqli_fetch_assoc(mysqli_query($con, "SELECT * FROM `wp_wpcc_forms` WHERE `id`='".$_GET['edit']."'"));
$xdata = mysqli_fetch_assoc(mysqli_query($con, "SELECT * FROM `".$wpdb->prefix."wpcc_forms` WHERE `id`='".$_GET['edit']."'"));
And no, your documentation does not say anything about this.
ok thanks i have use your correction in documentation.
This plug-in cannot be translated without editing PHP files. You haven’t used gettext! Any suggestion on how I can translate the plug-in without losing translations every time a plug-in update is released?
Hey, sorry i understand how i can do this in EUR and how i can build a form like your Demo: http://codecanyon.net/item/wpcc-wordpress-project-cost-calculator-plugin/full_screen_preview/5648802
Can you send me the html of your form and help me to using this in EUR?
you can download HTML form from this link (https://www.4shared.com/zip/rRgSpqUPce/wpcc-html-form.html)
I would like to hide the price, both for the items and the total price.

Actually, form settings won’t get saved won’t work if you changed the default database table name prefix wp_ during Wordpress installation; this mean you cannot use the “Send to e-mail” function because you won’t be able to insert (and save) the email text in plugin settings.
The wpcc-edit.php does not use $wpdb->prefix, so it is always trying to update a table named wp_wpcc_forms.
This means the plugin won’t work for all users changed the default database table name prefix during Wordpress installation.
I fixed the code changing lines 3 and 12. For those want to get this plugin working, just open wpcc-edit.php with your favourite FTP client and replace these lines:
And no, the documentation does not say anything about this. I strongly suggest merge this fix in the next release.
Or simply change your database table prefix back to wp_ with one of these plugins: https://it.wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=change+table+prefix
NB: keeping default table prefix is still not recommended for security reasons.
ok thanks. for suggestion
what is the latest version? does it include the fix above?
how to make your plugin to send emails via wp mail function? or how can I configure SMTP settings in your plugin to use Office 365 as relay. I have tried plugins like Easy WP SMTP and it doesn’t work for your plugin
Sorry never worked with any of those so have no idea.
Satish, how to get rig of popup window where you have to enter email and click on send. Can we move these fields onto the form on the page itself instead of having the popup window?
no. actually plugins send whatever written on the page so it will send those input too!
I have a question in relation to its own variable. Is it possible that, for example, various products to many selection boxes to calculate possible.
For example: I have a T-shirt, a T-shirt has to print four pages. But a bag has only 2 and so two less.
Can that be so set that I can select with a T-shirt 4 sides and a pocket 2 and each should be individually clickable so at a T-Shirt 4 checkbox and a bag for 2.
Thanks for the answer I’m sorry for my englsich.
Your demo link is broken.
Hello, am planning to buy this plugin. I have a website for printing and in the business card part I wanted to include the cost calculator by putting the number of business card required. Could you please advise whether the plugin would be able to do it? http://farbe.ae/product/spot-uv-business-cards/
