Hello, When I load the filter everything plugin, once I drag the range filter, the page will refresh automatically.
Even other jquery range filter written by myself will refresh the page automatically.
if i disable the filter everything plugin, I can drag the slider freely, and the page does not refresh automatically.
Is there any way to disable auto refresh?
sorry, i post on the wrong forum
Hello there! I have a strange issue with the full width setting…in a website it works only when you resize the browser window by dragging by the mouse click…You can see this behaviour on www.ibonline.it. How can I fix it?
Hello, The issue looks like some kind of conflict with the full width script rendering. We can recommend checking it by deactivating rest of the plugins and by using a default theme. You can then activate them one by one to identify the exact one that is causing the issue. We would also recommend taking the site backup before doing so.

I couldn’t find this reported yet, but it looks like in the latest version you can’t drag/drop vc rows anymore – https://a.cl.ly/d5un2GQr (video sample using default wp theme, no add-ons and cache cleared).
No problem dragging rows when used inside Sections and inner rows seem fine as well.
Thank you for looking into this!

Hello, Thanks for reporting. Can you please check if you are getting any errors in the browser console? I tried replicating the same steps on localhost but was able to drag the row. Here is the video of how it works at my end: https://watch.screencastify.com/v/kEIcaxpZFQea9yG8tjwt

Ok, I did some more testing. The issue doesn’t happen on a new page but only when editing an existing page.
Here is a video test showing moving rows works on new page but once you save and go back to the front-end editor then it doesn’t work – https://a.cl.ly/NQuj9byZ – are you able to recreate that?
- No errors in the console.
- Happens on Multisite and Single Site
- Tested with PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.0
- Tested with the 2020, 2021 and 2022 themes.

Hello, Yes, we are able to replicate it now and has confirmed it as a bug so that it can be fixed in the upcoming release.

Hi there, hope you all had a great holiday season!
Is there any ETA for the next update? Thanks
- AJ
Hi after upgrading from 5.6 to 6.10, WP Bakery backend editor no longer properly shows elements in pages.
Only a single WPbakery big row with a long sequence of shortcodes in it.
Gutenberg is disabled in WPB.
Could you please suggest how to fix that?
— PS your ticketing system for support does not accept submissions and suggest customers to email hello@wpbakery.com. Did it a couple of times in the past 5 days but no one replies…
Hello, The support can be accessed if the plugin is purchased directly from us. If the plugin was received as a part of the theme, then in this case the plugin does not have a direct license and hence the support access is restricted.
The issue mentioned by you can occur if the older version was modified by customizing the core plugin files. Updating the plugin restored it to standard plugin and hence any custom elements failed to render, displaying them as shortcodes.

Hi, the plugin was bought directly from your site, a few days ago. We are the agency, it was bought using our client name. And used client credentials to login to support site.
Don’t know if the older version (5.x) was modified customizing the core files (we did not build the site, just updating it to support PHP8 and newer WP versions) but probably not: if someone can code and modify a plugin, probably won’t need a page builder…
Anyway: - is there a solution to the problem? - could we move this discussion to your support? Currently your ticketing system does not accept submissions (tried 4 times in different days from different PCs) and no one responds to messages at hello@wpbakery.com
Thanks

Stretch row, stretch row and content “jumps” into place once the site is loaded. Very ugly experience. This has never worked right but now clients think something’s wrong with our website. What is the fix for this?
Hello, This can occur if the row visible by default is using such settings due to the time required by it’s js to stretch it. A workaround can be to use a preloader instead so that the site loads beneath it and is only displayed when full site content is loaded.

Hello, I notice that the colum settings only show a General tab and a ID & Class tab. Where do I find the Width & Responsiveness tab? If it’s disabled by the theme how would I re-enabled it?
Hello, It looks like it is disabled by a theme or an add-on at your end using: https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/inner-api/vc_remove_param/
An Ideal solution will be to contact the respective developer to obtain the code location and then comment out the code where it is disabled.

Hello, The WPBakery Page Builder does not load a Google font by default unless it is specified via an element setting. You can check if any element on the page has Google font specified via it’s setting to then disable it.

I think I have identified a potential bug.
I have a row using the Settings / Visibility / “Visible At Mobile Menu Breakpoint”. This row is using a 1/2 + 1/2 layout. On one of the columns, I have in Column Settings / Design Options, a background image. Set to “Cover”. With the “Visible At Mobile Menu Breakpoint” on, the image does not display correctly, or at all. This is at the mobile sizes, when it’s supposed to be shown. The rest of the content does still display correctly. And, without “Visible At Mobile Menu Breakpoint” applied, the image displays correctly at all sizes.
I worked around this by disabling “Visible At Mobile Menu Breakpoint”, and using my own CSS class for a breakpoint. Like this:
@media (min-width: 960px) { .hideondesktop { display: none !important; } }
With this method, the image display correctly again.

I have my WP Bakery Page Builder license through a theme. I am not going to spend my time, let alone more money to purchase support access in order to help fix a bug in YOUR product. Sorry, don’t want to be rude, maybe you understand?
Today I also discovered that the Row Visibility set to “Hidden at Mobile Menu Breakpoint” breaks the Content Position: Middle setting for that row.
I will just use my own CSS breakpoints.
Good day, I have in theme this great plugin, but have one bug or error: Important notice: You have an outdated version of WPBakery Page Builder Design Options. It is required to review and save it. -> Open Design Options
When click on button: You are not authorized to access this page.
Why? I am the only 1 administrator of site, no other user registered (only 1 page presentation). I try cleared cache but not help.
Hello, This issue can occur if the design options are disabled due to theme integration code used by the theme developer. You can get in touch with the theme developer to get rid of such code that is being used to get back the design options and then re-save them.

Hello there, I’m using the new version 6.9 and I can’t find the respponsiveness column settings. Where can I find it? Thanks in advance
M
Hello, The responsiveness option is available under column settings. If it is not available at your end, then there is a chance that the option might be disabled by the theme or a plugin.

Hi is there any way that I can modify the animation of the pagable container? I’d like the ‘pages’ to slide in like a slider? Thanks
Hello, Unfortunately by default the pageablecontainer does not support it. It might be possible with some js and css customisation.

Hello, 1 month ago there was a question posted at https://codecanyon.net/item/wpbakery-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431/comments?page=1101&filter=all#comment_28196785 and you replied at https://codecanyon.net/comments/28212666 with ”... Hello, To disable the js, you can use window.wpb_disable_full_width_row_js = true; and then you can use the CSS to stretch the row. ...”. ** Can you provide full code and information on where it needs to be placed to enable this filter, and also what CSS code needs to be used to stretch rows, as well as stretched rows with content stretched, and stretched rows without content being stretched to full screen width?
Hello, The filter is required if you want to use stretch the rows using modern CSS. This will disable the JS behaviour that is responsible for stretching the row and you can then add the custom CSS code to handle it. We do not have such CSS code for stretching the rows in the plugin. The filter can be added via main js file loaded by the theme.

Anyone here know of a forum to discuss customization features of WPB? I’d love to know how we can make it so that WPB recognizes a custom WP Editor that we built using ACF and some custom code. Anyone know of a site where we can discuss that? Thanks

We’re devs ourselves. We’re not looking for anyone to customize. We can do it ourselves but can’t find a hook or way to apply WPB to a custom editor. For instance a previous agency used ACF and applied it’s own editor to a page area. We’d like WPB to recognize that editor so that the client can edit her own content without have to use ACF’s methods.
Hello, Unfortunately, we do not have a hook in our standard plugin to add the editor to a custom field. By default, the WPBabkery Page Builder can only work with the default WordPress text editor. You can check the available hooks/filters in our documentation here: https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/inner-api/

You didn’t elaborate though as to why it can “only” apply itself to WP editor. If it can apply there it should be able to apply to another editor no? Are you like a middle man and not a programmer?
The template I used to build a work-related website came with WP Bakery as the page editor. I own two personal WP Bakery licenses but do not use them for the work website. In the Wordpress plugin section, the WP Bakery plugin would not allow me to update it because it was requiring a license. So we purchased a license for this instance of the plugin, but under the Product License tab in the plugin’s settings, there isn’t a place to add the license. How can I associate the license we just purchased with the plugin being used for the website? FYI, another person with the purchase card bought the license, so I don’t have access to their dashboard but I do have the license number. Thanks.
Hello, This can happen if the product license page is disabled by the theme developer. In this case you can get in touch with the theme developer and get rid of the code used to disable the product license page to get it back. Once done, you can then activate the plugin license as per: https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/getting-started/activation/

Hey,
Just wanted to report a little issue.
As you know in one of the more recent updates you changed how the Role Manager works so that Administrators can’t change any settings and should have access to everything.
Well, I ran into a site where the administrator had previously disabled the Classic Editor but because the admin no longer has access to settings in the Role Manager they couldn’t re-enable it and so their site was stuck without being able to access the Classic Editor button when editing a page.
I had to use the following code to fix the issue:
$role = get_role( 'administrator' ); $role->remove_cap( 'vc_access_rules_backend_editor/disabled_ce_editor' );
Thanks as always for all your continued hard work and keeping such an awesome plugin supported!

Hello! I would like to know, why your version of the “WPBakery Page Builder for WordPress” looks and feels so outdated, compared to i.e. the one implemented in the Salient WP Theme?
This versions seems like it has seriously not been updated for ages. Specifically when it comes to responsive options.
Cheers. Peter
So any thoughts or just abandon any comments on the subject, why the page builder seems so outdated? I mean that goes well with the product somehow… not really giving much concern…
Hello, The theme developers can modify the plugin when it is included within the theme. Due to this, the options in the standard version might be different from those within a theme.
The content built by the elements is responsive by default. However, if you are looking to have more control over the responsive view depending upon different screen sizes, then there are a lot of third party add-ons (available under the add-ons section of codecanyon) that can be used to enhance the standard options.

Hey guys, how is the new filter to ”disable full width row JS” used in version 6.9.0 I couldn’t find any documentation on it. Thanks!
Hello, To disable the js, you can use window.wpb_disable_full_width_row_js = true; and then you can use the CSS to stretch the row.

Hello. WordPress shows that there is a new update for the plugin WPBakery Page Builder. When updating to version 6.9.0 an error message appears: “A valid URL was not submitted.” (“Beim Aktualisieren von WPBakery Page Builder ist ein Fehler aufgetreten: Download fehlgeschlagen. How do I get the update?

Can’t be, because all other plugins can be updated in WordPress via the Dashboard > Aktualisierungen (Update). Everything was working fine until the last update.
