Hi IvanDokov, does this convert time zones seemless on the fly?

Yes, it does. Today I will upload a video demo.

I would like to see live website example before buying

I was busy with other things lately. As soon as possible (hopefully today) I will upload a video preview.

The video is online. Please check the description.

Thanks for a great plugin, works as described and tech support is superb!

Hi Ivan,

Can you give me a mod to the script which replaces the original time displayed and only shows the timezone corrected time.

Can you please email me through my profile page to discuss this mod. Thanks!

I need something like this for scheduled events, but what if the time difference overlaps days? for example, if I schedule an webinar for NY on March 15, 9 PM, for a visitor in India it will be 7 AM but on March 16. Seem like this plugin cannot help me?

The plugin calculates this correctly.

Hello, There seems to be an error in Chrome v”33.0.1750.154 m” OR in the theme i’m using – Any chance you could point me in a direction?

I’m using the radiate theme and using the .page and .post class tags

In IE v11 the script displays a popup with the correct time zone perfectly! on the same site but in Chrome, it just inserts the time zone text twice before the time zone then when you mouse over it, the text will hide, then reaper when you put your mouse over it again. I assume that it’s just a DIV tag that is just getting its property ‘display’ set between block and none except in this case it’s just not rendering the pop up correctly…

Code Generated <td> <span class="tzc dark" onmouseover="this.getElementsByTagName('span')[0].style.display='block'" onmouseout="this.getElementsByTagName('span')[0].style.display='none'"> <span class="tzctip" style="display: none;"> Your local timezone:<br /> <span class="tzc dark" onmouseover="this.getElementsByTagName('span')[0].style.display='block'" onmouseout="this.getElementsByTagName('span')[0].style.display='none'"> <span class="tzctip"> Your local timezone:<br />06:00am 30.04.2014 </span> 06:30am 30.04.2014 </span> </span> <span class="tzc dark" onmouseover="this.getElementsByTagName('span')[0].style.display='block'" onmouseout="this.getElementsByTagName('span')[0].style.display='none'"> <span class="tzctip" style="display: none;"> Your local timezone:<br />06:30am 30.04.2014 </span> 7:00am 30.04.2014 </span> </span> </td>

  • It seems that its generating it twice. I did try stripping it down to detect only the .page class instead of both and it’s still doing it.

Also – it seems that its picking up IP addresses as times then displaying an error

A few additional features I would like to see would be:
  • Natural language detection: 7am 4th August 2014
  • Custom detection patterns: so I can use 30/4/2014 instead of 30.4.2014
  • Natural Language would also eliminate the issue around dates like 4/5/2014 – is that 4th month (like in the US) or 5th month (Like in Australia)?

Last of all – Love the code!... There was something else I can’t remember – I’ll do another post when I remember :)

Oh yea – The last thing was the ability to display the end users time zone on the popup. IE instead of ‘Your time zone:’ It would display ‘Australia/Adelaide:’

Can you please send me a link through my profile page contact form so I can take a look at your live example. Regarding the time zone, the script doesn’t know the name of the time zone. It knows the time difference to UTC and calculates the new time and date.

Maybe it would be good to be able to display the UTC difference then so people know its 100% in their time zone. When trying to use it to display a time for a live event – then they need to be 100% sure that it’s actually going to be correct.

Hi, I’m looking for something like this, but for the latest (and near future) WP version. When do you plan to update?

Great, thanks! One last question: Does it also support “Monday 9am – 5pm” – would be great for opening hours.

It doesn’t, but I will will see what I can do for the next release.

I appreciate that. Will purchase at your next release then. Can you please reply to this thread when the next update is approved, so I will be notified?

I’m looking for exactly this functionality for our web. 2 presales questions:

Can it be translated to different languages?

What about WordPress 4.1? 8 months for an update? I’m sorry to mention -no offense, but it seems like you don’t update plugin as needed for professional customers.

I just haven’t changed the item description. The technology used in the plugin is not dependant of the Wordpress version.

I am going to review it today and make sure everything is working correctly with the latest Wordpress version and fix the supported versions.

Hi there, this plugin doesn’t seem to work, at least not with the widget that I’m wanting the times to be converted in.

Hello. Can you please give me a link so I can take a look what’s wrong. Thanks!

Hi, I just installed it and it works great! I’am waiting for the update, where ‘Monday 9am – 5pm’ would be supported.

I wished ‘Thursday, September 10, 2015 18:45 -19:00’ to ‘Friday, September 11, 2015 10:45-11:00’ was also supported, but I may ask too much! Great plugin!

I think it will not work out of the box with this plugin, because Booked loads the information asynchronous and TimeZone Corrector cannot detect the information, but with little modification in Booked code I do not see why it will not work.

Hello just bought it! How to display it in a specific page ? Shortcode ?

Please take a look at the video presentation.

Hi,Your page about WP Timezone Converter said that the styles can be changed through css, and so I’m trying to edit the css styles. I’m having issues finding the css selectors that I should use. Maybe you could help. Thanks,

https://codecanyon.net/item/timezone-corrector/5084096 in the description you can find the documentation.

I can’t get it to work, please look at my problem here… http://shoutkey.com/ten Some of the styling messing up.

I don’t know what’s the goal, but I can see that you have global opacity to this container: .eventon_events_list .eventon_list_event .evcal_desc .evcal_desc_info, .evo_pop_body .evcal_desc .evcal_desc_info and you force display:block on all spans inside. This is why it is displaying the tooltip by default without hovering with the mouse.
