Sorry, but live preview is not available
Thank you for the heads up! Looks like I had some server issues. It should be up now.
You can see the code on a production site there, but if you’d like a more in-depth preview, let me know and I’ll help you with that.
Yes, it is installed there. Do you have a specific question regarding the site or the plugin?
I was trying to work out where the demo was on the site
Does this work with universal analytics?
The current version does not, but I’m working on an update which will have be compatible with universal analytics.
I’ve finished updating the plugin to include support for both Universal Analytics and Classic Analytics. In fact, it works even if both are installed at the same time.
im not really clear as to what this plugin does or how it works?
It keeps track of how far each user scrolls down each page. It does this by linking up and recording the info into Google Analytics.
it only works with conversions?
where in analytics would i see the info
It actually works with any page view, not just those involving a conversion. After installation, the scroll info will be tracked under the Content section, under the option called Events.
its all based on the analytics code? no additional resources to the pages, right?
It relies on the analytics code as well as jQuery (which is included in WP by default), but it also loads a single script file that’s 2.5 KB so that it can count the scrolls and send the info to GA.
And let me know if you have any other questions or concerns, and I’ll keep doing my best to help.
And I made one mistake on my previous comment, it’s now called the Behavior section, not Content. I used the old name out of habit.
thank you for quick responses! i will check it out
Double post on accident.
I just purchased this plug-in, installed, and then activated it. I can’t tell how to start using it. Where do I access settings for the plug-in? Also, where do I view the scrolling data?
I haven’t yet implemented a settings page for this plugin. By default, it keeps track of page scrolling in 20% intervals. If you’d like that tweaked or customized, let me know and I’ll help you with that specifically.
The scrolling data will be in your Google Analytics account. It will be stored under the Behavior section, under the option called Events. In there, you can break down the data however you like.
Let me know if you have any trouble with it or have any more questions. Thanks for purchasing!
Is this plugin working with GA employed by GTM? I’m already install it on www.rodzice.pl but it doesn’t work
Hi Artur, I haven’t tested it with GTM, but I just submitted a new version of the plugin which should fix your issue. Once it’s approved, please try it out and let me know if that resolves it, or if you’re still running into problems.
Thanks for purchasing!
Thanks for fast answer. I can’t wait for approved new version by envato. I will get you know. Thanks again
Hi Brett, i already checked new version but still have no info about events in my GA. Do you have any other idea?
Hi Artur, I’m looking into it now. I’ll let you know what I find as soon as possible.
I think I found the error. I believe it’s related to how GTM loads Analytics. Here’s a file that should fix that issue: https://www.dropbox.com/s/weyrrr6hf1ehb6i/scrollseer-0.1.1.zip?dl=0
If not, email me at email@example.com and we can schedule some time to fix it in a more hands-on way.
