Hello, How the inner margin of the columns can be set?

Hi,

Congratulations for choosing this plugin and thanks a lot for using it. Regarding your concern, you can use this custom css and set the margin to the column widgets :

#leFooter-inner li.widget{ margin: 10px; }

Let me know if you have any other concerns. Thanks!

Hi. Love your footer. Can you tell me how to make the > or + sign into text saying ‘Information’. My URL www.waterhouse.co.uk/AmblesideSports.

Hi,

Thank you very much for choosing this plugin and I’m glad you love it :) Regarding your concern, there is no option to change it to text as of the moment but you can create an image with the text ‘information’ on it and I can help you with the css code. Please upload the image and contact me using this form : https://phpbits.net/contact/ . Thanks!

Hi, another question. I have a menu on the footer. Is there a way of aligning it to the far right?

To adjust the positioning please add this to your custom css or theme’s style.css :
#leFooter-inner li.widget#text-9 {
    float: right;
}

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Is there a way to put links to pages on the footer that doesn’t involve using the custom menu widget. The menu widget looks unattractive, (too big, big boxes round everything) in the footer and I would like it to look the same as it does when placed on the themes native footer. My URL is www.waterarthouse.co.uk/AmblesideSports Thanks

Hi Ive left a few questions. One was about how to create html links in the footer. Ive worked it out. Now I just need to be able to align them to the far right. Please can you take a look at www.waterarthouse.co.uk/AmblesideSports to see what I mean. thank you in advance for your help.

Hi,

Glad you’ve worked it out. To adjust the positioning please add this to your custom css or theme’s style.css :

#leFooter-inner li.widget#text-9 {
    float: right;
}

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Can I also make a full width 30px bar with hover-popup? And… Im not good with code. And I wanted to make a stunning footer with icons, indents etc. and not just like plain text. As e.g. phone icon for phone, mail icon for mail and marker point for address. Do you know what I mean? Does your plug-in also provide that or am I wrong here?

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Regarding your concern, this plugin provides the Slide Up footer capabilities and layout. The contents are up to you, you have to find a widget plugin that supports custom icons and markers. Let me know if you have any other concerns. Thanks!

Hello, is there an option to only show this footer on the homepage only? ...and then show the standard Wordpress footer on all the internal pages? ...or does it replace your current footer completely?

Hi @vantageledpaul,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Regarding your concern, you can definitely show the Slide Up footer on the homepage only via plugin’s settings page; it will not replace your current theme footer. Thanks!

Hi, this is the only plugin I’ve found that seems to have the functionality I need! Questions first…

1. I only want to have one footer widget instead of 4 (it will be for opt-in)

2. Can I change the + sign to open the footer to a word like “Open”?

Thanks in advance!

I went ahead and bought it but there are a couple of things I can’t get working like I want.

1. I only have one column so when I choose to hide widget on mobile devices, it hides the content from that widget but not the entire leFooter. Can I do that somehow? I want the whole leFooter to be hidden on mobile so that people won’t click the + sign and see nothing.

2. If I leave the widget visible on mobile, the entire widget area can’t be seen and I can’t scroll inside the widget. I have a lot of text in that widget and I can’t see the full content when I click the + sign on mobile devices. Please advise. Thanks!

You can see what I mean on the site here – http://thepainefreegroup.com/

Hi,

Thank you so much for choosing this plugin. Regarding your concern, please add the css code below to your custom css option or theme’s style.css to hide the footer on mobile devices :

@media screen and (max-width: 767px){
    body #leFooter{ display: none; }
}

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Cheers,
Jeffrey
