Hello,

I have a client who would like me to integrate a job portal for them on their WordPress website, here is a link to the job portal requirements document I have created: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4s136w47desl024/Job%20Portal%20Requirements.pdf?dl=0

The company themselves provides an iOS and Android app that allows users to apply for project based construction trade jobs, and we would like the clients on this app the ability to be able to post their own jobs on the companies website.

If you could let me know if these requirements are achievable via your plugin that would be great.

Thanks in advance, Shane

Hello Shane,

The plugin provides the ability to get jobs from job services, like Indeed, CareerJet and more. It doesn’t offer the feature to post a job using the plugin, therefore I don’t think it is fit to your needs.

Can I use this plugin also to create my own jobs and list them? So, both my own jobs as well as jobs from external sites?

Hello,

No, the plugin doesn’t offer the ability to add your own jobs. It is an affiliate plugin. If you can already display your own jobs on your site, you can also add external jobs by the plugin.

I purchased this plugin but it is only fetching jobs as per the keywords defined in configuration. Its is not showing search form where user can search the jobs . I want to return it because it is not able to serve the purpose of mine.

Hello,

The search field can be included via shortcode. Please check the documentation here: http://wpjobhunter.pantherius.com/documentation

Support provided by email, therefore if you still have difficulties with the configuration, please send me a message via my profile page mail sender.

Hello pantherius, hope you good? quick prepurchase question. can your plugin serve an option of making applicant apply for job, submit resume while still on my website without redirecting to original job provider’s website but should definitely have on my website a kind of indicator of “job provided by indeed” but my users gets served 100% on my website. be it you’ll be doing this for me as a custom job for a charge, i’ll be good with.

Hello,

Sorry, it is currently not a feature. This plugin provides the option to show jobs on your site via APIs.

Hello,

Thank you for making this available we wish to utilize this and make purchase, would kindly inform me of the following:

1) Can we use this in order to create access for customers (vendors) to create their own Ad Posting – for instance with an Image and Some Texts? –

2) Is it possible to charge each customer Fee per month or 38 days?

3) Is it possible that customers can select not to Pay a fee – rather create a post – when they only pay a commission to us – when some clicks on their post?

4) I suppose we wish to understand if there is a Pay per Click Option (to charge a vendor when a potential customer clicks on their link) and membership – That is if a customer will pay a Fee per time interval – and to pay let say $.10 per click?

5) Would you kindly refer back to me as soon as possible as we are also assess couple of other ad systems but we are keen to hear from you.

Thank you with the kindest regards,

Hello,

The plugin allows to display a job feed on your site, that coming from different service providers, eg.: Indeed, CareerJet, etc. It is not possible to post a job or create any payment with the plugin.

Hi I have more than 3000 pageviews per month on any page of my website and I have 0 earnings and 0 sponsored clicks. The api is correct. Am I doing anything wrong? I display jobs through short codes and widgets. Is there something I am missing?

Hello,

As far as I know Indeed changed the affiliate system and temporary stopped paying for the clicks. However, it is still good for getting job content, if you looking for commission, you may check the other alternatives, like CareerJet, SimplyHired, etc.

When this plugin is fetching jobs as per the keywords defined in configuration. Its is not showing search terms where user can search the jobs. And if a search term is not available the page goes blank. Is this fixable if not I may as well us an RSS feed for site content. Noticed this problem others having.

It is still the same with CareerJet and two words: http://wpjobhunter.pantherius.com/example-with-direct-linked-jobs-from-careerjet/?job_keyword=dfgdfg+erhrt&job_location=USA%2C+United+States

Are you sure there is no other errors on the page, that affects the search results?

If I use two words searches it fills the page with the same results.

Please send me the URL via my profile page mail sender and I’ll check it.

Hi pantherius!
All the API from Ziprecruiter, Indeed etc. are included, so no need to be requested to them, right? I’ll appreciate your confirmation before purchasing your plugin.
Thanks!

The API files required to connect to the service providers server programatically. The API key provides the permission by the service provider specifically for you to access their database using the API files.

Sorry, I don’t have any stat how much traffic you need to get the API Key, but I never have any issues with that, always got the API key with low traffic. However, they are also changes their policies sometimes, therefore the best way would be to contact them and let them inform you about your possibilities.

Thank you!

You’re welcome!

hi presales question for another license. 1) can i create categories and sub categories of jobs (with links) so when my user clicks they only see jobs for that keyword and a specific location i want? (so they dont have to type it in). 2) can i combine jobs for that keyword from mutiple sources like careerjet and indeed in that display?

3) your indeed jobs says ‘indeed connection refused’ on your demo. is this not working?

thanks

Hello,

1. Yes, keywords and location can be specified in the shortcode, please check the documentation here.

Like: [wpjh_add_jobs keyword=”Registered Nurse” country_code=”en_US” location=”USA” service=”careerjet” count=”10”]

2. Sorry, it is not a feature at the moment and also doesn’t allowed by the service providers.

3. It is working well for me here: http://wpjobhunter.pantherius.com/example-with-direct-linked-jobs-from-indeed/

If you checked the same page, that might be caused by a temporary outage by Indeed.

Hello, i have a pre-sale question,,,, i found that jobs listing, is only “Apply on Company Site”,,, so it will redirect to another site right?,,, its possible to apply through the website?, for example will be stored in custom post type, and allow users to send message with the Company through the site?

Hello,

However, the plugin allows to record the jobs as a new post on your site, using this function depends on you. Some service providers doesn’t allows it based on their Terms & Conditions.

Sending message directly to the company is not possible as the email address or any contact doesn’t included in the job feed, that coming from the job service providers. Only the apply URL, that is usually linked to the job’s original URL.
