WDF Value explained
The WDF value shows a word’s relative frequency within a document. The higher the WDF value the more often this word is repeated throughout the document.
An Example: A document consists of 12,000 words. So L equals 12,000. The word i appears 23 times within the document, so j equals 23.
For our formula this means: As a result you’ll get a WDF value (i) of 0,3. The relative frequency of the word i equals 0,001%.
