How to make it better on mobile? I am seeing only half screen filled by videos – would like the entire screen to be utilized. Any tips?

Can i use one of my youtube videos and still earn money from the same ads set by youtube that my subscriber see in youtube.com?

Hi,

Yes it still shows YouTube’s ads so you still earn money.

Best regards, Rik

Great plugin! Is it possible to show the titles on the playlist all the time, so you don’t have to put the mouse over the video to see the title? Maybe you could give a hint where I should change the code – have look hours to find it :-)

Hi,

You can add this custom css to always show the title:
.yesp .yesp-playlist .yesp-playlist-video[data-playing="0"] .yesp-playlist-overlay {
    top: 0 !important;
    opacity: 1 !important;
}

Hi,

Is it possible to completely hide the Youtube logo overlay that appears in the bottom right hand corner of embedded videos?

Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately not as youtube has integrated this into their player. Furthermore it’s not allowed by their policy to hide the logo by placing something over it.

Firstly, great plugin!

I wonder if you can help me with a tweak. I’m using this on a website that has background music on all pages autoplaying using a HTML5 audio player. When I watch a video on your player, the background music continues … is there a way I could get your plugin to pause the background music I play a video?

Maybe with youtube’s player statechange in their API?

Hi,

Yes you can use its API, you can find the help file for the plugin it’s using here: http://rikdevos.com/demos/youtube-video-playlist/documentation.html And then edit the JS file (I believe js.plugin.js) in the plugin’s folder.

Hi. This is a very good plugin. Is it possible to add a video to the playlist programmatically? Let’s say that I have video posts that uses YouTube ID to display videos. Is it possible to add that ID to the currently playing playlist using jQuery?

Hi,

Yes, you can also choose to enter the Youtube video id’s and it will create a playlist.

Best regards, Rik

Will you add a feature, where I can control video speed?
