Hi. I have a little question: do you know if your plugin is compatible with “the grid” by themeone. I woud like to import in the grid the images that have only certain category. Thank you!

Hello there! At the moment this is not possible, because RML uses an own taxonomy for categories. I will contact theme-one if they are interested in a compatibility with RML. If you want to motivate theme-one for this process you also can comment / contact on their product. Best regards, Matthew :)

Hello, I am having an issue with this plugin conflicting with the Formidable Forms plugin.

Basically when Formidable is activated and I try to use the media button to add media, none of my folders appear in the sidebar, it just continually tries to load them. I also get this error in my chrome console:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ’$’ of undefined realmedialibrary.min.js?ver=2.8.2:2

This is the error in FF console: TypeError: backbone.view is undefined realmedialibrary.min.js?ver=2.8.2:2

I just downloaded and added the most recent version of the plugin. Do you have any ideas as to why this wouldn’t be compatible with Formidable?

Thank you.

Hello there! Can you please send me a demo login to your site so I can have a look at it? support@matthias-web.com :)

Hello, good plugin but i am getting warnings from MariaDB v10.1. Can you please fix?

Ok, that seems to be a problem… Can you please resend the error log to support@matthias-web.com so I can have further look into. Best regards, Matthew :)

I am looking for a solution that allows me to upload media to the main “network” site of a multisite install, and then allows me to then use that same image as a network shared media across the other sites in the network of the multisite install. I tried using the “Network Shared Media” plugin, but it only works with the “add media” button inside a WYSIWYG editor, and does not work with the image field inside coming from ACF or with the Featured Image of post.

The reason I am trying to achieve this is so I can associate an image to posts across multiple sites in the multisite network, and if I update it on one site, it will be updated across the entire network.

Hello there! This is not possible with Real Media Library, it does not add a feature to create network shared media, sorry :( Best regards, Matthew :)

The media library is not showing all items. For example, folder pdf-docs indicates there are 8 items, but I can only see 2. Is there a way to rebuild the media library so it can see images that are actually on the server?

Is it possible to “rebuild” the media library in the database?

How do you mean to rebuild? What happens if you deactivate RML? Are it still 73 picuteres instead of 165?

I found the culprit. WPML Media. Looking into it now…

Hi I’m using Flatsome as my theme but I can’t see the Real Media folders when using the themes UX Builder interface to add images and galleries. How can I integrate Real Media into my theme? It’s not much use to me if I can’t use it with my theme :( Although I love what I seen so far from the plugin.

Done!

Hi – I just purchased your plugin as it is exactly what I was looking for. When I try and install it however, I get this message:

Yes, I’m a complete idiot. I just extracted the real-media-library zip and it worked fine. Sorry!

Ok, fine. :-)

This is a great plugin! Can you confirm if there are any instances where it would break a link when moving things around?

Also I was wondering if there is any way to organize the images/pdfs once they are in the folders? I have a lot of product data sheets and I am going to put into these folders and I would like to organize them alphabetically or be able to drag them around otherwise I just might make one folder for each individual file which would be a lot of folders?

Here’s what I’m referring to: http://puu.sh/tXtvL/4fe04243d3.jpg

Let me know, thanks!!

Hello there! Yes, I can confirm that the links would not be break if you move images around. And, for the order feature, you should do an update to the newest version (download from CodeCanyon). Best regards, Matthew :)

Awesome, thank you!

Hi! excellent plugin! It would be excellent or have an option to order the images in grid view. Will this be possible in future versions?

Hello there! That is already possible, just have a look at the product description images. What version of RML are you using? Best regards, Matthew :-)

Danke vorab.

Gruß aus Berlin, Dan

Problem wurde gelöst. :)

Hi,

Is there a way to sort/manage order of the files within a folder?

Can you please download the latest version of RML from Codecanyon? :-)

Nice, this solved my problem. Thank you!

That is nice to hear! If you like my service or plugin you can “Rate the item” here or follow me on Facebook :)

Hi, does RML support video galleries which could be published in a wp page?

Hello there! This is not a feature of RML because standard wordpress galleries only support images. Best regards, Matthew :)

Okey, but on the web site it says like this. Which you need to change. “WP Real Media Library is a WordPress plugin that allows you to easily manage your media library in your blog. Using this plugin, you’ll be able to organize the thousands of images, audio, video, and PDF files in your media library in folders. Basically, it’s like WordPress categories for your media library.”

https://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-real-media-library-media-categories-folders/13155134

Yes, it allows you to organize ALL your files in your media library in folders. This organization is backend. If you publish a dynamic gallery from a folder, it uses the standard [gallery] shortcode of wordpress. :)

Hello,

We would like to try out this plugin for our multisite installation. Is it possible to get a trial or demo plugin to install and try out for sometime?

Thanks, Shweta

Hello there! Sorry for that late answer… Have you already received the email? No sorry, because it uses the standard gallery shortcode. If your gallery shortcode works like that way, you should also be able to show every file type. Best regards, Matthew :-)

I have not received the Demo user credentials.. even after putting in my email for over 5 times. I’ve tried another emailaddress today.. If you can please send me one directly that would be great.

Thanks, Shweta

Just tried with three different emails and all have received the email. Can you please have a look at the junk folder? Or try another email? I can not create an account with one of my emails for you… Or, can you tell me your email address, just write support@matthias-web.com Best regards, Matthew :)

Hallo Matthias,

Kein Problem! :-)

How do I create a subfolder under a folder?

Hello there! Just select a folder a click again the ”+” icon right to “Folder”. Best regards, Matthew :)

Pre buy question. Can I set every image that is generated from video posts for the thumbnail to go automatically in a specific folder? Thank you

Hello there! This is a very special request, but it is possible because RML offers a very documentated API. I can recommend some guys from here https://matthias-web.com/customization which can do the job for you. Best regards, Matthew :)

Thank you for the fast response

No problem! :)
