Update ideas and pre-sale: add the widget to not only be on the bottom left or right, but also on middle left and right, add a chat-bubble with multiple designs (so, after the chat symbol, it has another bubble that says We are here, or something), it could be added a departments thingy, and also a ticketing system in the script, so that the agents can create a support ticket right in the platform, including all the info. Mobile app. It would be nice a SaaS thing like this. Also aliasses (so change the name whenever with whatever role), statistics. Just like Tawk.to. Thank you!

Pre sales question – If a logged in user starts a chat, will the chat console will auto show the email of the logged in user (without him/her specifying it)?

hi there, congraz on the good sales, presales questions pls do you plugin allow:
1) show around 5-6 FAQ options and let users to click, and will show answer?
2) like question 1, can it further to show even more answers going down the sequence? e.g. what is your pricing offer? , users clicked on it, and i will ask them automatically, what language they want, e.g. English or Chinese
3) can i ask for email address and it will create subscriber users role in my wordpress account so that my emall chain sequence will go and market them?

thanks so this plugin is more like for real live chat, so i need agents online for users to get response to

i m actually looking for offline solutions so that users can have self help functions to select the most common asked FAQs, but its acting like a real person helping them ( avatar, and delay of few seconds before answering )

Hi. Can i know, did we can transfer chat from 1 support team to another support team? Like we inform to visitor that the chat will transfer to another support team like sales support, then the agent will joined the chat and the existing agent will leave the conversation. do you have this?

Feedback feature wont work correctly. If you fill the form, and then chat with the person, at the end if you click on the red hand. Wont work, its says “No review yet.”.

Hello, before purchasing, I wanted to ask this – Can I create multiple support chats for different subjects under the same domain such that each chat will pop up on a different page and be operated by a different person? Thank you!

LC works in that way:

  • Visitor initiates chat
  • All operators on chat console will be notified by desktop notification
  • Any operator can join and talk with visitor
  • Other operators who didn’t join chat can read and reply the conversation as well (but they won’t be notified by new messages, only joined operator will)

You can also show up chat widget on specific pages instead of all pages.

Thank you so much for you reply! Our main request is whether we can create different chats (e.g. different chats for different products we offer, and not just ONE chat for all products). Each chat should be operated separately (and would pop up from a different page in our website). Can this be done on one website using your plugin? Thanks again :)

Unfortunately, no. If I understand you correctly, think you want to redirect chats to operators by specific page. For instance, if a visitor visits A product page, it should be assign to operator1, etc.

Although it isn’t available now, we will add similar functionality in the near future after releasing the next major update.

have API support? forecast to implement Chatbot?

LC2 is open source product and can be customized with WordPress Rest API and Firebase API. But, LC3 (the next major update) will have own api and core which isn’t require WordPress nor Firebase (which is good for China users).

We are working on new way of chatbots. Instead of throwing a bot nobody wants to talk, there will be alternatives. We will announce details through email and Twitter account.

Email notifications has been added in 2.4.0 (23 January 2018 – see changelog). It was an old update and you might face with incompatibility issues.

Unfortunately, LC2 doesn’t allow multiple apps on one console. It would be great feature if LC2 could allow you to create an app for each service provider and they access their console and talk with their own clients.

It isn’t possible to do it in LC2, but the next major update will already designed for multiple apps system. So in time, we will completely open this feature.

Just downloaded the update but seems a new one is coming soon… So maybe that will fix my first issue…

The live chat console is rendering weird… The chat users are up top in the right but the chat windows are way down the page… Not to the right of the users like it shows in the sample pics… Not sure why this is happening…

And two… Is it possible to place or style the button differently? Like I have a sticky bar on the top of my site and it would be cool to put the live chat button in there rather than having it floating at the bottom…

I actually figured out the backend UI issue… it was a plugin conflict problem…

But I was still wondering if there was a way to put the chat button in a different place then the bottom left or bottom right?

Also is there any way to export the data collected from chats to share with other plugins like newsletter plugins or lead generators?

LC only support bottom-left and bottom-right positions. However, you could open chat widget with simple html code from different image or link.

It is also possible to export all chat and users data to JSON file. If you contact support team, they will assist you.
