Hi. I just want to make sure about compatibility, before i consider to buy your plug-in. I am using PHP 5.3.8 and WP 3.5.1 is that ok.

I’m using PHP 5.3.5 and WP 3.5.1 so I guess it will work on PHP 5.3.8 too.

Ok i’ll give it a try

So fare so good, it took five minutes to install. I am now able to control FirePHP from settings in WP 3.5.1 and in firebug 1.11.1. This looks really interesting !

I purchased your plugin and it works great.

I have one question though… How do you turn it off.? Let’s say you do not want to see the debug messages anymore..

Thanks, RB

Remove all plugin files from wp-content/mu-plugins directory. Or just move wp-content/mu-plugins/wp-firephp-debugger.php file into wp-content/mu-plugins/wp-firephp-debugger folder.

I want to keep the plugin and plugin files. I just want the logging messages to be turned off if needed. I tried your second suggestion, but the logging messages are still showing up!?

I forgot to mention that you also need to delete plugin’s records from .htaccess file. Try it.

i have a problem getting your program to work.

my .htaccess : php_value auto_prepend_file /var/www/wp/wp-content/mu-plugins/wp-firephp-debugger/loader.php
  1. BEGIN WordPress <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase /wp3/ RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . /wp3/index.php [L] </IfModule>
  2. END WordPress

no where i put : php_value auto_prepend_file /var/www/wp/wp-content/mu-plugins/wp-firephp-debugger/loader.php

then it will not work.

it gives this error : Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at
Check the address for typing errors such as instead of

Hello, i just found your plugin here. The last Update was about 1 year ago. Before i consider to buy, i just want to ask if it works with WP 3.6.1 or will work with versions as announced WP 3.7 (October) and WP 3.8 (December).

Thanks, Joe

Yes, it works with wordpress 3.6.1 and likely with coming 3.7 version

I would like to disable E_STRICT and E_USER_NOTICE Messages in console. But the option E_STRICT at the plugin settings page does not have an effect. And E_USER_NOTICE has no option to set at this page. Can you please help me?

Thanks a lot

WP 3.7.1 firebug 1.12.4. WordPress FirePHP Debugger 1.3.4 PHP 5.4.10

Hello, sorry for delay.

E_USER_NOTICE error currently not supported. What about E_STRICT .. I can’t reproduce the problem. Did you try to filter other type of errors?

the Plugin crashes in the wordpres commandline kontext

Using WP 3.7.1 and wp-cli 0.12.1

Try to replace text on line 433 with next one:

public function errorHandler($errno, $errstr, $errfile, $errline, $errcontext = array())

Does it work with 3.8.1 ??

Do you develop and support it again ??

Yes. it works with 3.8.1

that´s nice! Do you develop and support it again ??

Yes, I support it but have no plans for adding new features.
