Hello. Im trying to use the ads on my page using the [ad X] code, but that just display the word, not the image ad (it works in a blog post, but not on the front page or in the sidebar). Is there an ordinary HTML code like <ad X etc> that i can generate to display the ad? Thank you.

Hello, The “Upload Image: Select File” button has stopped working when I try to go in and edit an image on an existing AD. It still works, however, when creating a new Ad, and trying to select a file for the first time. Please help. Thanks

$wpdb->escape has been deprecated for security reasons since version 3.6. How long are you going to wait to fix your plugin? If it’ll be a while, I’ll manually edit my client’s code. Files requiring conversion include:

  • adManager.class.php
  • menu-admin.php
  • menu-zone-edit.php
  • menu-zones.php

Again, this is a security issue. The exact error being triggered by WordPress is:

PHP Notice: wpdb::escape is deprecated since version 3.6! Use wpdb::prepare() or esc_sql() instead. in /path/to/file/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3078

Thank you for your prompt attention in this matter.

Feature Requests:

1.) When using images from the Wordpress Media Library, please source the original ALT tag rather than replacing with “Ad”. I use this plug-in to post image links to other blog posts on my site and wish for the added SEO with the ALT tags.

2.) Because I’m using image links to other blog posts, can there be a function to NOT display an image Ad if the link is pointing to the same post it’s going to display on? I don’t want an Ad for Post X to show up on the sidebar of Post X, but I would like for all posts to use the same AdZones.

Thanks!

Hello,

I am trying to add the ad-manager widget to sidebars. I have added the images & links etc, and in the past it worked. However, now the ads don’t show in the sidebar at all.

http://objectivesoul.com (there are 2 ads placed in the second right-hand side sidebar on the homepage, above the ‘tags’ widget, but they’re not showing.

Thanks,

Rachel

Since updating to the new Wordpress, we are getting this error. Will there be a fix? https://modio.tv/blog/
