That depends on the phone screen size or whether it is a tablet or not. High end phones show large word size. While tablets show even larger.

can we control user mistakes.. if do mistake every time he/she need to wait till the life comes back like CandyCursh.. if your life’s over you need to wait some time or you need to buy the life.. can add that..

Can be added to the game. Like if more than 5 mistakes were committed. But restricted the user to play a game in small gameplay apps is not a good strategy. Rest changes can be made in the app to add them.

To remove in app purchase make the following changes
1. Go to android manifest.xml located in the project folder and remove the following line from it
<uses-permission android:name="com.android.vending.BILLING" />
2. Go to startScreen.java file in the src/com/creativedroids/wordcomplete and change the following line.
if (DataHandler.isPremium())
if (!DataHandler.isPremium())

Now the in app purhcase features are removed from app but is still present in the code however that wont be any issue.

Will this work with Android Studio? Your docs only support Eclipse.

I have not used android studio so I cannot tell you exact steps for importing it. But since it is standard Android project so it will work.


I have removed the premium version as you stated in one of the comments here , but there is a problem when you finish the game , it doesn’t show you all the wrong words and says ” if you want to see all words get the premium version” , how to disable that?

Open file named OnCompletion.java present in the src folder. In this file search for the following line.

Now delete the following text from this line

For sign in to work properly you must replace the values of app_id and leaderboard_Id with your own values. You cannot sign in with the values used by us.

What problem you are getting?
For leaderboard to sign in without publishing the app you need to
1.sign in with the same email id with which you have made the account.
2. Sign the application with a keystore file.
3. Make sure your app is ready to testing in the play store dashboard.
