Does your plugin also takes over the WP e-mails, such us registrations outside woocommerce?
Hi, thanks for your question. Yes it will take over the WordPress function for sending emails so will work for most plugins and themes as well as WooCommerce.
How is this different from Mandrill’s official wpMandrill plugin that also takes over the WordPress function for sending emails and supports WooCommerce?
Hi, thanks for question, whilst both plugins offer the same basic functionality, WooDrill offers more features such as tracking your emails within wordpress, analytics in your admin section and much more such as an easy to use dashboard to keep a track of your account and shop. As for WooCommerce WooDrill will track each WooCommerce email by type and lets you view analytics about each type of email.
Hopefully that explains the differences, I know we are biased but we thing WooDrill offers much more than the standard plugin! If you have any other questions please let me know!
Also! We offer fantastic support to every customer and usually reply to issues within a few hours, which by looking at the support page for wpMandrill is a big difference.
Does this let me send the Woocommerce emails via Mandrill? Can i customize those emails? Can the emails be send RTL?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the question, WooDrill will send your Woocommerce emails with Mandrill however it does not yet allow you to edit your emails or set RTL.
Hi, I just installed this plugin on my wordpress and I am getting this weird script/code at top of my website pages:

Please help, it happened after I installed mandrill.
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble.
Doesn’t look like its WooDrill causing the issue but if you drop our support guys an email at firstname.lastname@example.org they will take a look for you.
hey all, just wondering if you’re updating this inline with the major updates of WP and WC lately?
The recent changes don’t affect us so we are still fully compatible.
I am interested in this plugin. Will you be updating it soon?
There are planned updates to WooDrill. Is there anything in particular you are waiting for?
Just want to make sure it will be fully compatible with the latest Woo and WP.
It will be, we design our plugins to use standard features that won’t be retired for a long time if ever. However if by some chance there is compatibility issues in any future versions we will try and get an update out asap!
Hey guys! It’s been a few times I’m looking at your plugin and I would also be interested to see an actual e-mail editor for WooCommerce coupled with a Mandrill integration. I’ve seen you told this is not a feature yet. Does that mean it’s on your roadmap? Have you started any implementation yet?
It currently is not on the road-map, however we have had a few requests for this and we love to build what people want!
Would you mind sending an email to email@example.com with the sort of thing you’re looking for and we will look at including it in a future release.
does your plugin support woo-commerce action hooks ? to send email at desired event ? for example, i want to generate an email when the order is saved in database even if the customer hasn’t paid yet. since woo commerce by default does not send email at that point.
Thanks for your question. Unfortunately this is not something WooDrill currently supports we may in future but have no plans to include it in upcoming releases just yet.
Pre-sales question: We have a plug-in that lets users select a delivery date. Is it possible to set this plug-in up so that on the date of the delivery it sends an e-mail?
Thanks for you question currently WooDrill will only divert emails that are sent to Mandrill, it will not send extra emails.
The original WP-Mandrill plugin has an issue with wp-mail..Please see this
Does your plugin has the same issue?
The issue you’re asking about is a standard feature of Wordpress, that only one plugin can override wp_mail. Usually you would only have / need one. We do have features to let you know if it is an issue after installation.
PRESALE: We want to integrate woocommerce order details with Mandrill Templates. Does it support Mandrill Templates and if no do your plugin support drag and drop email template creaton? I tried accessing live demo but it did not work.
Sorry for the late reply, the live demo should be working. I’ve just tried it and all seems well. Unfortunately our Plugin however does not have the two features you were looking for.
Hello good afternoon.
The Woocommerce email template is applied when sending an email by Chuck?
Hi, thanks for your question. Unfortunately I’m not sure what you’re asking, if you’re asking if WooDrill can apply templates to emails the answer is currently no, we’re working on a future version that may be able to. If this was you’re question please just reply and we’ll do our best to answer!
What is the difference between WooDrill and WPMailDrill. If we buy WpMail Drill will it send all notifications and mail from Wordpress via mandrill including Woocommerce. If you can confirm i can make the purchase straightaway.
Hi, thanks for your question. Both will do the same basic function but WooDrill has extra features in for WooCommerce, such as the ability to view analytics for the different types of emails WooCommerce sends. WooDrill also has the dashboard feature which allows you to quickly check on the health of your email system. With WooDrill only being $1 more at the moment it makes sense to buy WooDrill if you’re using WooCommerce.
Any other questions, just let me know!
Hi, Can I use Mandrill Templates to send the Woocommerce emails ?
Unfortunately the emails are sent as they are to Mandrill.
We have seen this request a few times and are looking to add this feature, could you send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with what you’re looking to achieve and we’ll see if it can be included in the next version.
We would love to add the feature but we need to understand what people would expect from it first, hope that makes sense!
still waiting for the Mandrill Templates..
I don’t think we ever got an email describing how you would want it to work so we haven’t been able to see if its feasible yet.
Could you send us an email at email@example.com with what you’re looking to achieve and we’ll see if it can be included in the next version.
Hi, one question: the plugin is compatible with WooCommerce version 2.5? Thanks
Thanks for your question, yes we are.
You may get an email confirmation response received and opened from our customers. Example: a kind of pop-up “The website required the read confirmatón.. click here”
....After this, I could be able to receive an email confirmation reading? or in the log panel, to check if any sent email has been opened?
If I understand your question right you want to be able to see the email wordpress has just sent?
Thats easily possible with woodrill and if you enable Mandrill yoi will be able.to see if the user has opened the email too.
If that’s not your question just ask again and I’ll do my best to answer!
I have just purchased the plugin, but after verification DKIM valid View DKIM settings
SPF valid. and has API configured.
I tried with the woocommerce mails orders. I dont get sending mail. the log error in “queue”.
Is possible sending woocommerce mails with attachment file?
Hi Thanks for purchasing, if the emails are in “queue” that means they have been sent to Mandrill but they are queuing your emails. If you get in touch with them they’ll be able to tell you. I’d love to tell you more but Mandrill keep the information private.
Mandrill is no more available == why is the plugin still for sale ??
Hi, it is still available it just became a paid add on for Mailchimp.
I’m interested in purchasing your plugin but I’ve gotta ask whether your plugin supports PHP7? since my server is using that. thanks in advance.
Thanks for the question. We haven’t tested it with PHP 7 just yet but reading from the changelog it should be fine.
our shop sells services not products. (20 different Tickets for a climbing forest). So we need a plugin, were we can use individual emails for our customers.
is it possible to configure 20 different mails for all different products?
can we send this email 24hours after completing order?
Hi, thanks for your question unfortunately our plugin is not suitable for what you’re looking to achieve. If you can’t find a plugin to fit your needs email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we may be able to build one for you.
Hope you find what you need,
